Better than I expected
Installation was easy; no leaks. The shower head body is pretty much all plastic (the threaded fitting that attaches to the spout is metal of course), but it does not feel cheap, as some people on here have suggested (also keep in mind this thing is under $20).So, when I first turned the water on after installation, I was immediately surprised at how much water was coming out; this is my first water-saving head, so I was expecting more of a mist or slow drizzle. When showering, it honestly doesn't feel any different from my old 2.55 GPM head, and there is no noticeable heat loss compared with the old head. Two things I did notice were the limited range of motion and the noise. The maneuverability of the head is somewhat limited but at 5'10" I had no problems aiming it correctly, and it is a little louder than my old head--I believe it is the aeration that happens inside to help save water--but the noise is easily forgettable. These two hits, in my opinion, do not detract from the quality of the experience at all, so I am keeping it at 5 stars. My only regret is that because this works so well, I feel like I could've gone with the "N2515CH Sava Spa 1.5 GPM Fixed-Mount Showerhead, Chrome" (I'm kind of anal when it comes to saving resources). I think I am going to buy the 1.5 GPM and use it down in my apartment and use this one in my rental unit upstairs.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this head.

Decent lower flow shower head
I've been testing some of the lower flow shower heads in the 1.5gpm and 1.75gpm range. Some of the other Niagra units work well and have really good pressure but lack in spray pattern. Where this one shines is the spray pattern, it's much better and covers more area than ones that spray in a cone shape. Where this one falls a bit short is maintaining water pressure, the spray comes out a bit on the soft side given the water pressure at my house. The lower pressure output relative to the input pressure and only being available in chrome and not a brushed nickel look takes away one star. We'll see how it performs long term.

Good, but not for everyone
So this was a tough one for me to rate. I like the Niagara Sava Spa 1.75 but my wife does not. This comes down to personal preference regarding water flow.We switched one shower to the Niagara earth massage 2.0 and did not feel much difference (in a good way) vs. the 2.5 gpm standard showerhead we had previously. I thought I would try to go down a bit further to 1.75 gpm in the second shower. I like the coverage of this showerhead, but my wife does not like the lower flow. The combination of the lower flow (1.75 vs. 2.0) and wider coverage make this feel like the flow is not sufficient for her.Beyond preference, the showerhead is a very high quality product - exactly what I would expect from Niagara. It has a fine appearance and installed perfectly into our shower. We have definitely noticed the impact on water consumption.

... believe this very inexpensive shower head could be as good as people were claiming
I really couldn't believe this very inexpensive shower head could be as good as people were claiming. I mean, C'mon.. Some discount priced, feel good, look at me.. Im so green, product produced by some tree hugger organization named Niagra? We all know they never live up to the real, earth screwing, Humvee original thing right? Well, this thing performs. It might really only use 1.75 gpm (mine did.. I tested it), but it FEELS like a glorius water wasting shower. The coverage is 10x better than any of the low flows I have tried. The jets are strong and complete with no holes on coverage. It even tingles a little. Put a on/off valve on this thing and you could have a damn good shower with just a few gallons of water. This thing is exactly what I was looking for, but never really expected to find. I think Im going to shower up and go hug this tree in my back yard now that I have been neglecting... Thanks Niagara.

FANTASTIC!!!!!
I'm a single dad and live in Ca with 2 teenagers at home. Reducing our water consumption has always been a concern and over the years I have tried several makes of these water saving shower heads that one can find in stores. Some are too narrow and it takes for ever to remove the soap from your body or some have too much pressure and the water stings but I have to say that this one is the one for us. It has enough pressure to remove the soap fast but it does not sting and it's as wide as a regular shower head, so, it does not feel like you're having a "dry shower"...I just installed it so, I am not sure how long it is going to last but it seems to be built to last.I'm going to buy a bunch of these, they'll be perfect gifts for birthdays and Xmas..LOL

good performance, broad coverage, cheap feel
We're happy. With kids growing up and taking more and longer showers, I needed to conserve water in the well. I swapped out my 2.5 GPM shower head for this 1.7 GPM one. My biggest concern was that I would hear complaints about not enough water. Well, it was just the opposite. After using it my wife said it was great and felt there was more water. The body coverage is quite good, and that's why I think it feels like more water. The feel, quality and materials seem on the low end, so I'm not giving 5 stars. If this thing hold up for several years, it may justify 5.

Sacrifices a lot of water pressure for coverage
This replaced a Niagra earth massage 1.75 gpm shower head. We may be going back to the earth massage. This head provides much better coverage and style than the earth massage, but at a pretty big sacrifice of pressure. The earth massage was great because you could adjust the head to provide really high pressure thin streams of water, or low pressure thick streams, or anywhere in the middle. This one doesn't allow for any adjustments, and the streams are rather thin and low pressure. You can also see from the picture on the inner two jet rings some of the jets are "dummy" jets, they're there for styling and don't spray any water. This leaves a hollow feeling to the overall stream of water, there's just not not much water spraying in the middle. Can't beat the value though, glad we tried it.
