Rapidair K93215 NPT Filter Regulator, 3/8-Inch

Good Regulator/filter at a great price. For years I've used PVC hoses and dealt with the aggravation of tangling, kinks and stiff hoses. I recently upgraded my compressor and needed a new setup so Legacy was my answer. For my lead in hoses I used: 2' (HFZ1202YW3S) and 4' (HFZ1204YW3S) and my Main hose (HFZ1250YW3). I went with 1/2" hose with 3/8" ends on everything, the larger hose helps keep up the supply demand for impact wrenches and higher flowing air tools. I also purchased a ReelWorks (L201303A) and Rapidair regulator (K93215) from Amazon to complete the system. And multiple trips back and forth to local hardware stores for the fittings and valves etc. I already had a retractable reel with 3/8" hose on the other side of the shop.The regulator worked perfect for my with its 3/8" inlet and outlet and was safe to use with my compressor which is rated at 155 PSI. I have the regulator set at 100 - 105 PSI which gives my close to 90 PSI operating pressure when my tools are in use. My only complaint would be the size of the gauge. It's on the smaller side and could be hard to read for some folks.Overall I'm very happy with how the system turned out. After everything was assembled there were no major leaks that I noticed. After about 2 hours I lost roughly 10 PSI in the tank. Eventually I may upgrade the shop plumbing to the Rapidair kit or copper pipping. I can't recommend regulator enough for a cost effective option. Thumbs way up!

I bought this to reduce the air line pressure coming for my 2 stage air compressor. Works great planning on buying 2 more for my shop air supply.

I added this to my RapidAir System to regulate my Air Blow Gun and Plasma cutter. It works great. Make sure to install it correctly or you'll have air leaks. (I installed my backwards) My only issues is the regulator knob is kinda stiff and you have to turn it a lot to get up to the PSI desired. The guage is really small, so you might want to have it around eye level to see.

Seems to regulate the air pressure perfectly. Was a little bit hard to switch the direction.

I have used this well for about a year now but it has slowly developed leaks at the pressure knob. It's bad enough now that I will have to replace it. Probably with something better.

This is the best water trap, I've owned. I will continue buy more of these for the future projects. Definitely worth the money.

This is the second RapidAir ¾" regulator I've purchased in as many years. It's only used at 90psi and has developed a leak like the one before it. For the higher dollar of these you would think they would also more than a few months at a time.
