Soft and waterproof at the same time - side coverage lacking
I bought this for my one year daughter so I could let her self feed more messy foods without going through as many outfits in a day. I like that it is soft and not plasticy like many waterproof bibs. The pull over design works great for us and has excellent coverage around the neck. No food falling down the neckline as of yet. The pull over will mess up your kids hairstyle though. It's like putting on a turtle neck.We have the green and also bought the blue which I'm debating on keeping. Might want more than one but see below for my reservations. The color is as it appeared on my monitor a very clean bright wasabi-like green with very light gray cuffs. The cuffs are awesome and soft and the water proof lining (only down the front and not lining the sleeves) is also soft. Basically seems like a thin white layer of anti-absorbent polyester fabric or something. Seems like it would be cooler than similar bibs. I ordered a bunch of different ones and this seems like the winner so far. Many of the others where either fleece and a wind breaker like material or straight up plastic or polyester. Thin terry with soft cuffs wins in my mind. The main issue I have with it is the way the sleeves are sewn to the side to the make the whole thing a T shape. This makes it so that there is a small gap by the sides when it is worn as the childs arms are usually down and not straight out. I'm thinking of adding a snap right in the pit area so that I can snap it to the back to close the gap and not worry about resituating the bib during the meal. I actually wish it was more of a smock type design for better side coverage but it's not bad. I also ordered the eat and play smock from Bjorn but it just felt so plasticy and was pretty big too. So this is what we've got for now. Comes down to my one year olds knees. She is 60th percentile in height at the moment. All in all 4 stars because everything is great but the side coverage.

Must have for baby led weaning
When we started BLW with our son I struggled to find a proper bib that protected his clothes but didn't get in his way. I ordered several and ended up buying 6! of these bibs despite the comparatively higher cost.Other sleeved bibs I tried were typically were sized 0-3 years which is a huge age span for anything wearable and either made with cheap, plastic material that had huge balloon sleeves and was prone to bunching up around the neck, or made with heavy waterproof lining that wasn't breathable and far too much of that material would need to be tucked around his waist and lap. These bibs are made with terry cloth material and only the front bib has a waterproof backing (this has never been a problem though in terms of keeping him clean and dry during meals). They are also sized 6-12 and 12-36 months so they fit snugly and comfortably like a shirt and never get in his way while eating. I bought 2 in 6-12 months and 2 in 12-36 months so I had 4 bibs in rotation with a little buffer in case the laundry didn't get done every day. This worked fine and while the 2 smaller ones were preferable until he was about 10 months old, I just rolled up the sleeve cuffs on the larger sizes until then and they still worked great. At 10 months I bought another 2 in 12-36 months and retired the smaller ones. I would never dream of using anything else. I absolutely love these.

Keep their clothes clean
Easy to put on & take off. Long sleeves help protect this baby who is independent and wants to feed herself. I bought several but could only order one at a time

Works well, can't beat the price.
My 16 month old had been ripping off his bibs for months, and I spent most of his nap times soaking out food stains on his clothes. Can't believe I waited so long to get a smock bib! I ordered this one as well as the bumkins bin that ties in the back. This one is great: the terry cloth material allows liquids to soak in some rather than just roll off it (like the bumkin,) but the inside is lined with a soft water resistant material. Nothing has leaked through it thus far. My baby is pretty tiny for his age, but even so, I haven't had problems with food falling through the neck hole (as I saw in other reviews.) A bib under the smock could help if this is a concern. I also haven't had a problem getting the smock over his head and off, even if it's dirty. I just wipe off big food chunks before lifting it over his head, and we've had no problems. Overall it's soft, works well, and a good price. Worth a try if you are looking for a cloth smock option. My only suggest pertains to the length. We haven't had problems with it yet, but I could see why you might want the front to drape down further over the legs. As for now, the length is good and covers some of his lap.

Fantastic Product
This product is pure genius. I've never understood why typical baby bibs are so measly, they hardly cover any of the surface area that either of my children has ever doused in food during mealtimes! The neck and cuffs are stretchy and fit snugly around the child's neck and wrists, but aren't so tight that finicky infants and toddlers will tug at them to remove. The neck in particular is well-made; it stretches wide enough to go over and off a head without causing much protest ... no easy feat, in and of itself! The front portion is long enough to reach the child's lap. The fabric beneath the microfiber is water resistant, so if your kid spills, it's likely not to soak them entirely. It's not water*proof*, so if your kid likes to dump a glass of water on him or herself, they will get wet. These aren't cheap, but they're well-made and stand up to frequent washing, so buy a couple when you start feeding your baby solids and you'll be so glad you did. Seriously, I can't tell you how many outfits my kids ruined before the bibitall, just by getting dark foods on their clothing. I cannot recommend these enough!!
