Once you use it a couple days, based on daily usage, your batteries will drain so if your on the couch make sure you get some rechargeable AA and be prepared to swap them. Of you can find a logitech dinovo mini, not the dinovo revue which is a knock off of the original dinovo mini, get one instead of this.

Key board is great but the to move the courser around the screen was hard to manipulate

It's a great controller for a HTPC. The Keyboard is easy to use, and the abilty to navigate is improved by tracking the movement. The problem is, that it is not easy to "drive" It's very hard to zero in on small objects and click them. For web browsing and Watching videos, it does the job. But do not attempt any gaming or anything with it. It is just not good for tasks that require little time to acheive you movement goals. You get alittle used to it, but it is still difficult to manuever.

This is the first time that I've reviewed a product on Amazon. I feel compelled to let everybody know just how great this product is! I had spent around a year looking and testing/wasting money on several "promising" compact keyboard/mouse devices that offer remote functionality. This thing is perfect I can't say it enough. Fits great in my hand like a game controller. Buttons R firm and nothing gets pressed on accident. It has a solid build, doesn't feel cheap. The keyboard is bigger than what's found on those remotes with the mini keyboard on the back yet it is small enough that if I need to I can type with one hand. And comfortable typing with two. The best part? The reaction time for the air/gyro mouse produces almost zero lag time. Incredibly responsive. I am very impressed because j was expecting s*** because all of the htpc remotes I've tried are s*** until now. Don't waste time, if you've got a designated HTPC in UR bedroom/living room. This is what you need. Buy it. Do it............ Do it

it was my fault I bought this for smart tv didn't work its for a computer

I have several types of remotes for my 4 HTPCs at home and this is the best. Already bought 3 and ll buy one more. Very easy to manage and use. Just wast a lot of batery but anyway is the best alternative for a lazy bastard like me.

like the original at half the price it was very good, and it worked fine, the mouse that has to be staring and pointing to the side and to the other, if you need to do many functions you will end up getting tired of it, but has the option of stop working the mouse with a single button and it helps a lot, but overall okay.

I bought this to replace the older white unit which was freezing periodically, probably due to a Windows driver issue with the dongle. The new unit is supplied with a new dongle clipped into its underside. No issues with this one, works fine on Windows 8.1. I've only used it with a Windows PC so can't comment on compatibility with anything else. The new handset is smaller than the old one and much neater however it no longer has the Function keys F1 to F12, however it looks more stylish and is more at home on the coffee table with a home theatre PC.
