Cheaper alternative to the one that came with my devices but works well

Not good for children... But otherwise it saved me in a pinch when my OEM cable died with no warning. The power supply is much larger than the real one but it didn't really matter to me. The cables are all of considerable strength and are longer than the real ones.The reason it is dangerous is due to some weird issue with the plug. It may just be mine, but if the plug isn't put in perfectly, sparks start flying. This happens every time I'm not super careful with it. I don't mind as it so far hasn't inflicted any real damage to my device... It's just kind of concerning to other patrons at Starbucks when your laptop starts smoking.

I was desperate to buy a new charger after losing my original one, and this one was a perfect replacement! Within the first few weeks of using it, I had some issues with getting my computer fully charged, and the battery would drain pretty quickly, but at this point, I am not experiencing any issues. Being a broke college student who NEEDS my laptop nearly every day, this was a great deal! I am sure I could've bought a "certified" Microsoft charger for a higher price, but this charger fits my needs and ultimately that's what matters.

I had to buy a new charger because my dog destroyed the original one and I think it does its job well.

Was able to use for around 2 years, however there were issues early on. The plug would spark when I plug it in, the box would heat up a lot and the wire did not last long. It did last a good while, until it stopped charging. The final attempt to charge my laptop resulted in sparks and smoke coming out of the charger. Luckily, I unplugged the charger quick enough to prevent a potential fire. It's cheap, but be careful when charging.You get what you pay for.

After buying 2 other Microsoft Surface Pro chargers here on Amazon which both didn't work (yes I checked that the specs were all correct), I finally gave it one last shot with this one before giving up and buying the $60 Microsoft name brand one. Well, third time's a charm! This one works perfectly. The light stays on while it's charging, it has not overheated, and the length of the cord is fine. While it's a tiny bit larger than the Microsoft brand one, it still fits comfortably in my laptop bag. I also bought the 3-year protection in case this one craps out on me since all the Surface charges don't seem to last that long.
