Don't let the inexpensive price make you think it is cheap! It was a perceft match to our Walnut Dressers and fit nicely to our King bed. Assembly was easy, my 14 year old followed the directions. One piece the pre drilled holes didn't match up but no big deal drilling new ones, only six. It was packed well and had no scratches. This is a quality piece at a bargain price. Looks nice, fairly easy to put together as long as you’re used to assembling stuff like this. Pieces are not labeled, instructions are just pictures, so it is important to look at where the holes are on the pieces to ensure that you have them properly laid out, especially the middle piece on the headboard! The very top piece is not very secure, so I did have to glue it down, didn’t want it falling off during the night if my dog’s tail hit it. Hardware to secure to the bed frame is not included, but it does specify that, so I ordered it when I ordered the headboard. I did use a power screwdriver to assemble and it cut my assemble time in half.

Review for HEADBOARD ONLY.I’ve put together my fair share of ikea and big lots furniture. The cheap wooden dowels, the strange directions. I’m used to those. When this headboard arrived, I didn’t realize I was going to have to literally put the entire headboard together AND mount it to my bed. I thought maybe I’d have to attach the legs to it. Nope. This thing comes in 9 pieces. NINE. You have the leg panels, the bottom panel, middle pannel(which is thiner backing style material), the top panel, and then a small sliver for the very top. Then 3 “support” pieces. Over all, it took me about an hour to put together by myself, after realizing the instructions are JUST pictures, no words or explanations of what you’re doing. Took a few minutes to figure everything out. Not too bad for a king size headboard! That being said, the headboard seems very sturdy, we haven’t had any issues with it seeming flimsy or shaky. It looks like an expensive headboard!! My husband saw it and asked me “geez that’s nice. What’s the damage$?” When I told him I got it for $119 he was so surprised! Great quality for the price, color matched the photo perfectly, even with the terrible instructions, I’m super pleased with this headboard. HOWEVER. If you are planning to mount this to your bedframe, you must buy the hardware SEPERATELY. It is NOT INCLUDED. I did not know that. So the headboard isn’t attached to our bedframe yet, just resting behind it for now. But even just leaning against the wall it seems sturdy enough to where we don’t feel like it’s going to fall or anything.Also about delivery: we weren’t home when it was delivered so we left a note (knowing it would be a large package & we live on the second floor) saying to leave the box at the bottom of the stairs. Gotta say, UPS did a great job blending the box in so no one from the road would steal it. They had it parallel with the steps so I could barely see it till we were right by the steps. Bravo, UPS.Overall, good headboard. I highly recommend it so far, even with needing to purchase the hardware seperately. It’s a great bargain prodoct for great quality.(Excuse or poorly made bed and messy room. It’s been a long week of moving)

I recently purchased this furniture item, and I must say I’m extremely disappointed. The material feels cheap—definitely not what I expected based on the product description and photos. It’s flimsy. To make matters worse, I wanted to return it, but the return shipping cost was more than the price of the item itself! This vendor’s return policy, where the buyer must cover the entire return shipping cost, feels completely wrong since it is a furniture item. Save your money and invest in something more durable from a vendor or company with a better return policy. If you receive a damaged item, as other reviewers have mentioned, or if it doesn’t meet your expectations and you don’t want to keep it, expect to pay enormous return shipping costs or be stuck with it. Just be aware—it cost me dearly with nothing to show for it after the heavy monetary loss from return shipping costs that far exceeded the original price of the item.

I looked at a LOT of headboards online, read a ton of reviews, and waited for several years before making this purchase, because I really did not want to get it wrong. I have a king-sized bed (Casper mattress and basic frame, not that it matters a lot, it's a pretty standard setup) and the king headboard is PERFECT. It is high quality, especially considering the price, and it's got a very solid feel. As a 4' 11" female with moderate-to-good "put-it-together" skills, I found this headboard approachable and straightforward to assemble and mount* to our bed's frame. I have never put a headboard on a bed before either, so I was a little bit intimidated, but I took my time and it ended up exactly like I'd hoped. Now, also as a "fun-sized" woman, I did benefit from some assistance moving the assembled headboard into place to mount it, mostly due to the dimensions of the headboard once assembled, but really, much less help on the project overall than I'd anticipated.My husband, who has no dog in the fight when it comes to living in a decorated space, and who would gladly sleep on the floor or in a cardboard box if he were on his own, has commented over and over how much he LOVES the way this headboard looks, how nice it is, etc. (And I'm pretty sure a headboard has never been on his wish list in his life!)* This headboard does not include mounting hardware, but I headed to the hardware store and bought 4 screws, washers and nuts (1/4" x 1-3/4", I believe they were, but don't quote me on it!) and used a power drill to make holes in the helpful pilot holes the manufacturer provided in the frame, and presto!All in all, I am thrilled with this purchase.
