Mediterranean Garlic Dip & Spread 12 oz - Toum (1)

Wish I had taken a packaging image. This item comes a glass bottle and it was perfectly packaged but not wasteful with their packaging. So it’s an average size condiment jar think pickles or something similar, it sealed tightly with a safety imprinted seal around the ring, the label was as I know it to be and just as imaged on amazon listing, bottle was clean and didn’t look like it was sitting in a dirty warehouse as often happens with food products I have noticed, it was then wrapped in a foil bubble wrapped no excess tape to deal with and placed in a appropriate sized boxed on its own. It was flawless and arrived as indicated like 1 or maybe 2 days tops. Received yesterday, already used today and flavor is perfect. Color is right on for this product and expiration date is clearly noted another issue I have had with other food products sold on Amazon by other sellers. Condiments do expire Amazon. I am from Chicago and can find this product locally but Amazon beat the local price for a larger bottle and the convenience of home delivery why not! This can be used for amazing garlic bread, chicken shawarma and pretty much anything that requires garlic. It can be used cold or heated. My family uses it in Cuban recipes that require excessive amounts of garlic like a Cuban Mojo for roast pork or as a dipping sauces for fried bananas or Yuca a root vegetable. Order it if you know how to work with garlic, note this is a seasoned SPREAD not a basic garlic paste. A little goes a very long way. Not for a touch of garlic recipes - fair warning. Order and enjoy!

This garlic spread is SOOO good-it's hard to describe. I found a small container of a garlic spread that was used as a 'fill-in', in a big box store that was good but it didn't last me long & of course I never found it there again so I HAD to find a replacement.... This one is MUCH better!! I LOVE garlic steak tips as well as garlic bread, garlicky baked potatoes, garlic fried potatoes, etc, etc, & this sauce/dip/spread hits the mark on everything for anyone that loves garlic!! It was very economical as well since it came in a 3 jar pack! These 3 might last me MAYBE a couple months but I doubt that. I'm sure I will have to reorder before then!!

This was about as authentic of a middle eastern garlic sauce you can find over the counter. It was a bit too lemony, but otherwise fantastic. Just enough of a garlic taste that won’t overwhelm you, yet is perfect for dipping pita bread or using it on grilled chicken breast.

The dip tastes like mayo and the consistency is very loose.

The product was excellent but lids were broken on both orders. The manufacturer said the jars were dropped by a secondary seller which cracked the lids. He said beware of secondary sellers and to buy directly from the manufacturer Teta Foods. The manufacturer replaced the two jars. It's a great product and low in sodium. Wonderful flavor.

It’s a little sweet on its own but you know you got this for fries and sandwiches.

Only three stars. Texture is that of only pulverized roasted garlic. Not a good dip for veggies or chips. Maybe good as an ingredient for other dishes. I wouldn't call it dip.

I used to buy this at my local Kroger but when I moved to a different state they didn’t carry it anymore. Enter Amazon! I use this in cooking instead of a dip. The texture is awesome, mixes into everything from eggs to queso and pasta beautifully. No bitter aftertaste. Buy it, it’s delicious if you’re a garlic lover like me.
