Floor Box Coin Open Kit by Enerlites 975510-SS Electrical Outlet Receptacle, 2-Gang 20A Tamper/Weather Resistant Duplex Receptacle, Stainless Steel Cover Plate

Purchased this for professional electrician to install. He had some difficulty as we found our there were two hardwood floors in our new "old" home. He kept having issues but then found out he didn't read the instructions. Once he did it was smooth sailing. So, I would suggest reading the instructions. It is installed under a couch but it was professionally installed and appears as if it was always there. Good quality and aestically pleasing. Looks good on our cherry oak hardwood floors.

Little difficult fitting into the floor after cutting out hardwood. Works well to eliminate cords stretching across the room. Wish is came in something other than a shiny brass.

Quality cover, little too deep for male plugs to fully engage

The double qasketed cover plate was a nice surprise. Will help insure no water or debris will enter the box housing assuring everything will remain clean

Save yourself time and money and find another supplier. The box screws that hold assembly together do not line up. Took couple hours to get final screws in. Should have stopped and removed but wanted it in and done and stubbornness took over. Also when you remove outlet caps the holes are too small to get most plugs fully seated. I will most likely down the road pull this and just mount a standard outlet box and receptacle. I was past the return window when installed or Amazon would have gotten back. I have one of four final mount screws that stripped and no solution to secure 110% based on design.I do not recommend this kit to anyone.

Great product

Outlet is ok but takes some work to put in. First, you need a router to cut a 3/8" recess in a hardwood floor for the box flange. Any less the cover plate sticks up, any deeper the receptacles are sunk further down. Second, the box has protrusions which require additional small cuts for it to fit into the floor hole. Third, the box screw holes may not line up with cover plate and if you use any force, the screws break. And finally, the cover plate does not have any alignment bars to help hold the receptacle in the proper location. My package did not have instructions so look at the online instructions before you buy to make sure you are up to it.

Great product that arrived in time and installed perfectly. Turned out exactly the way I wanted them to.

This product was extremely expensive. A double gang box and 2 receptacles are nowhere near the price charged. It’s the cover plate that’s hard to find. There is no adjustment when installing, so the gang boxes must be installed at the exact height. If too high, the plate will not sit on the floor. If too low, there will be a space between the receptacles and the cover plate allowing dirt to enter.

The overall look is good , unfortunately the plugs sit recessed a bit too deep and it makes it difficult for the plug im using has a tough time making proper contact.
