You'll want this set for the FANTASTIC pillow!
This is, by FAR, the best travel pillow I've ever owned. (Even though it's a travel SET, I couldn't care less about the other items in the set because the pillow is so ingenious!) travel a lot and I've tried many pillows and nothing comes close to this one. The zippered cover makes cleaning a breeze but also use it for holding my small frequently used in-flight items such as my headphones, lip balm, hand sanitizer and lotion. If I want or need a fat pillow, I just inflate it while it's still zipped up. If I need a wider or flatter pillow, I unzip it so its full sized and inflate it. It only takes roughly 5 breaths to inflate it and its very easy to deflate. It's weird that I love this pillow as much as I do but there you have it. I've purchased this set for quite a few friends and I've even gotten myself a couple spare sets in case my first ever gets damaged. I've been using it for many years now and am still on the first set. So that speaks to the quality of the manufacturing.Other items in the set: the earplugs are adequate. I personally prefer a different style but these work just fine. The mask is pretty good. I have really long eyelashes and sensitive eyes so I have a contoured mask with a deeper cup so it doesn't push my eyelashes into my eyeballs but I do think the mask that comes in this set is pretty good. To me, the blanket leaves something to be desired. It's not very warm and it's quite small, a bit more like a thin lap blanket. I often take long flights so I like more coverage so I always take my "Super Soft Big One Throw" from Kohl's because it covers me from feet to chin which is what I prefer when trying to sleep.

I did not think the one I got was like cheap felt
This worked quite well for my purposes. I was a bit reluctant to try it as another reviewer referred to it as being about the same as cheap felt. My two cent's worth ... I did not think the one I got was like cheap felt. It is not the warmth or thickness of a blanket on my bed, to be sure, but the blanket on my bed would not fold up to 10 inches by 12 inches by 2 to three inches (thick). One thing I was not clear about was whether there was a separate carrying case for the pillow. There is not a separate carrying case. Although the photo here shows three pieces, one does not get three separate pieces (and since I wanted to minimize the weight while traveling, I did not want three separate pieces). The case itself, which is white in this picture, IS the pillow, and there is a little plug by which one blows into the pillow to inflate it.I did not use the pillow for my head (although my partner did). Instead I used it for my lower back. It is NOT as comfortable as a regular bed pillow, but it is also not as bulky as a regular bed pillow. The trick seemed to be to under-inflate it (and be willing to take some air out of it after trying it). Then it worked fine to fill in the space between my back and the seat of the train. This was my first time on a train and I had heard that they got kind of cold. Well, ours very definitely was (but the train was a good experience overall). We would have been in trouble without these blankets. It would have been highly uncomfortable.I do not think it is fair to compare this to a blanket and pillow on one's bed, which would cost more and be much more bulky and heavy. For what we paid, this helped out a lot on our trip to southern California (which can be chilly in the spring). If I were going to the northeast in a snow storm, I would consider something else. But we were trying to travel for a week with a single rolling backpack each. This item merited the space and weight in our packs and I would take it again next time.We will use these at most twice a year, so this is not something that is going to be laundered quite frequently in our cases, although I will hand wash it if necessary. The quality seems to be sufficient for our uses. The mask is, as others mentioned, tight, so if the mask is important, one might consider other options for that.

I usually use these when flying
I found these both more adaptable and more comfortable than other options of similar size for flying. The pillow works well, and the blanket is just enough to add a little warmth when sitting in a car or airline seat. Additionally, I will often use the blanket for lumbar support while flying. Ear plugs and mask are often used on the plane too, but they are about the same quality as something you could find at a local drug store... no complaints, though.I read a few reviews that talk about pilling and fuzz. I usually have a travel outfit that doesn't attract lint, so I can't comment on that. I would consider being gentle when cleaning these items though. I'll add, that I used this when I had to stay at the hospital to keep a family member company. It was very handy. For the price, I really like them. If I hobbled together some better quality items to replace this "kit," I could easily pay 2-3 times the price... I would not recommend this for camping or for supplementing bedding during hostel stays (only in a pinch). if that is the purpose, I would recommend more expensive and purpose built items.

I am very happy with this travel set
I am very happy with this travel set. The pillow is what makes it different and exceptional to most. Initially the pillow case stores the blanket, so if you didn't need the blanket you could use it as is, all zipped together, as a small pillow. But unzipped you you now have a good size pillow (somewhere between a full size standard pillow and small travel pillow) and a blanket. Included are the eye mask and ear plugs although there is no case or anywhere to store them in the set when it's open. The fleece blanket is much larger than most you find in these sets. The pillow blows up quickly and easily. 5 blows in it was a bit over half full which was perfect for me. I would give it 5 stars but as someone else stated it is fleece that will pill quickly and collect fuzz and hair, nothing special. It does all seem well constructed. The strap on the front of the pillow is subtle but great you slip your pillow over a luggage handle and not have to pack it. I am taking this to Mexico and thought it would be invaluable for plane and budget hotels were pillows and blankets are lacking. I will write and update and let you know how they held up!

Pros - the fleece cover is about the size of a twin bed. The carrying case converts to a comfortable pillow.Cons - a little bulky if you need to put it in your carry-on.
