The AD530 is a moderate level tester that answers all your existing code questions. Did exactly what it’s supposed to do. The instructions aren’t really instructions. They are more like a button guide but not a feature guide. Either way once you plug it in and play with it and go thru the functions you’ll understand how to use it within 5 minutes or less. Bright screen even for night/dark mode. Screen and font are not hard to see. There is even a usb port to hook it to your computer but not sure if that’s for future updates or for uploading your diagnostics. Again the instructions aren’t really instructions. But stil. I used this on my check engine light. I already knew what the problem was but I didn’t know where. It told me exactly which coil was bad, and a simple google search can find my spark plug/ignition coil lay out. Very satisfied with this and hope it continues to be useful on other vehicles. There are really only 4 options you’ll really play with I haven’t done the record or the live monitor while driving but in my case I don’t need to. I’ve identified my problem and instead of paying $400 for a mechanic to do it I’ll spend 1/4 and do it myself.

Very easy to use and will clear the codes. The auto parts stores are not allowed to clear codes in some states so this is very handy once you have corrected the error code problem.

Great value and quality built (so far) Manual that is included is small and vague and not very useful but I went online and you can download and print if you want a very good user manual that explains operations much clearer and there you can check and update your software version if needed but this one already had the updated version I like the rubberized cover nice and compact and the display is okay but could be a little bigger There is a bit of a learning curve but the online downloadable website manual helped tremendously I emailed customer service with a question and received a reply in under 24 hours that is impressive I’ve never used one of these before but right now it seems to be a very good product and I’d recommend it

well they send a pamphlet on operating the tool which isn't much but I haven't hooked it up to my truck yet so I will take for granted that the screens for diagnosis will be more informative. It is just a basic scan tool to read codes and maybe reset your system instead of unhooking the battery which is what I usually do so it is at least worth that much and to see what the code amounts to and I am just a regular individual and not a shop so I am not doing any in depth diagnosis either.

Es fácil de usar, tiene varios idiomas, y te dice el error. Mucho mejor que un codigo. Sirve para varias marcas, me a borrado un error y no a vuelto a salir. Cosa que en un taller volvía a salir. Lástima que no me le la sonda lamba. Por el precio, totalmente recomendable.
