The ingredient in this anti-itch cream is effective. If you try hydrocortisone and find that it's not fully effective for you, this stuff might work. I had some pretty severe insect bites on my feet and ankles. I used hydrocortisone and it helped reduce the inflammation, but the Aveeno cream was most effective on the itching.

My back and legs dry out in the winter and itch like they are on fire. One application relieved a majority of the itch. Now just an occasional application. If you itch this works great.

This is the best for skin softness, quality and size is great. Moisturizing is good specially if you visit different country and city.

I got this to soothe a legion of mosquito bites. Even though I have sensitive skin, it didn't bother me. It was also super effective due to how concentrated it was - I could feel the effect in second, unlike less concentrated formus I've used. It smells nice and you get a lot for what you pay for, so overall, it's a good value if you need products for sensitive skin or have a heavy use case (climate, large family, outdoor enthusiast, etc.).

To be quite frank I would recommend you look at the ingredients and see for yourself if you could manage a local drug store brand for less money. The ingredients are calamine and a skin analgesic. Thats it. When I applied it to my poison ivy rash it actually started to burn. I googled the ingredients and pramoxine which is a skin analgesic has the side effect of a burning sensation. Not at all what one wants to feel when using it for poison ivy. Read the back label on line because my bottle came with a white label covering it. When I attempted to peel it off the back label comes off with it. So that is not helpful. When I looked up pramoxine it also says it should not be used on blistered, broken or damaged skin. When I was looking into this product I asked Rufus...the AI assistant, if people recommended it for poison ivy and the answer was yes. I would not recommend this if you are looking for something for poison ivy. It may serve very well for itchy skin relief and to soothe irritation. Other Aveeno products have served me well in the past so I am giving this 3 stars based on that. It is a lightweight lotion and non greasy I will say that. The scent...well its calamine so it is what it is but not terribly off putting. It doesn't leave a pink residue like calamine of days past.
