It's hard to judge something that has no comparables. For what it is, it's pretty good. But, it's a mixed bag of interesting and challenging, along with too challenging and too easy, or boring. The puzzles that are fun are weighed against the many others, and the cost is only justified by how unique and rare is this oddity of a book.

I’ve always felt that in general the public grossly underestimates the work that goes into Intel. Reading this book might give you a deeper appreciation for the community.

Way to British centric for me. I had to skip quite a few because I don't have British TV trivia memorized. I was expecting more logic puzzles and less arcane trivia.

Very interesting for people interested in Enigma and Bletchley, and the history around that time, and those who'd like the challenge.

Too much for me but great fun for those with brains

I didn't care for it, but I figured I'd give three stars because maybe it was just my impatience. However, an American purchaser should be aware that many of the codes relate to British television, British performers, British sports and athletes, British current events and history, you get my drift.

This book is so hard but we're loving the challenge!

This book has a lot of really interesting puzzles. The puzzles lack any context so are even more challenging. There are several general knowledge quizzes which are relatively English.

If you like a casual crossword this may not be for you, the puzzles are designed to be hard for the most part but it’s fun and has some good photos in it.

My wife bought me this book for Christmas. GCHQ is legendary in the puzzling and problem solving world and this book has been a lot of fun.

As described. Looks complicated, perfect gift for my intelligent girl!
