Long story long, I promised my little master builder LEGOs as a souvenir from a trip. He found something at a museum, then changed his mind. Later he decided he wanted to go back. We made a special trip, only to find out it wasn’t actually building blocks. Many, many tears ensued. We then agreed our money was better spent on building blocks he would really enjoy, so we looked online for one thing that could arrive before we got home. He chose a $110 LEGO set, then I spotted this one, instead. Punchline: He is THRILLED. We spent all afternoon building together; they lock together like LEGO brand, and there is a TON of stuff in one box. Only issue is that the car bodies are not quite as cleverly engineered as name brand, so you have to be careful about how you hold the body of the vehicle to add more blocks. Also there are many guns, which I would have confiscated if I’d seen them first, but it does provide for great conversations about good guys and protection. We have had some off brand experiences that weren’t great, but this turned out to be a fantastic choice. Will definitely buy this brand again.

Bought for my 5 year old. Instructions difficult for him. He canBuild legos by instructions alone. He needed my help with this one, but with a little help he still did it. Lock together great. High quality. Total compatibility with LEGO brand and Sloban brand. It came with a couple bad guys and a bunch of cops, which my son loved (I’m an ex-cop, and he wants to be a cop).The little retainer nubs in the clear blue doors are prone to breakage with repeated removal from frame. After a couple weeks, two doors failed to stay in frame as nubs snapped off. Build up layers of crazy glue to replace them. It doesn’t take much. This is the only failure point I’ve seen, and my son is hard on them.

The legos do not stay together very easily. The construction of the legos do not support each other so it constantly breaks apart as you are building. Very frustrating to play with because it doesn’t stay together. The actual pieces look & feel like real legos. But the design of the overall build is poor.

I got this for my grandson for Christmas...it was in his age range.......I am 58, and still had a bit of a problem with it...but then decided it was like a puzzle..grandma had a great time putting it together. To hard for a 6 year old.

For three days our 9 year old Grandson enjoyed doing this with Grandpa. He couldn't wait to show his Mom & Dad and was thrilled that we let him take it home. Great price and looked wonderful!

Strong blocks and the kids absolutely love playing with them! I love that the direction are color and printed in quality paper. They will withstand little hands over and over.

Finally gave these to my son for his birthday and when we went to put them together yesterday noticed we're missing a few pieces. I hate it when you get almost done with these and can't finish them.

Very excited when I received this set. It has many pieces that will make an absolute complete setup of a police station and all vehicles and items used by police officers. My grandson is going to love it.
