I do alot of night fishing on my boat and run my dog at night also. These lights are awesome, super bright and waterproof. I have always bought Energizer headlamps but their quality has seriously dropped off the past couple of years. Then I found the NSP-4608B on Amazon and immediately purchased 2 of them they are of really good quality. I prefer lights that use AA batteries over AAA just for the extra bit of battery life, Lord knows they're not cheap but these have above average battery life. If wearing against your skin--not over hardhat--remove and flip the strap or the rubberized side of the band will become uncomfortable. If using both the spot and flood together, the battery life will greatly diminish. (I used both for about 5-6 hours working in a crawlspace using fully-charged rechargeable eneloop batteries. The light was pretty dim at the 5th hour.)I've also used this in spotlight mode as a headlamp for walking at night. It lights up the street nearly 50 feet ahead and street signs well beyond that. After 1/2 hour of the spotlight on high setting, the light is still very bright.I've used this on spot and flood mode while repairing drywall. Makes an excellent worklight.I wish there was an option of a non-rubberized headband. Flipping the headband leaves a knot of fabric where the slip adjustment is made.Changing batteries is simple and can be done without tools.
