We liked everything about this set of silverware, the weight of the individual pieces, the way they feel in your hand, and size of the individual pieces. Cleans up great in our dishwasher with no spots, but we use jet dry in our dishwasher. LIke the look or contrast between the satin and polished parts on the silverware.

I'm very happy with the size and weight of these eating utensils. The design is easy to hold and simple, not overdone.

Excellent and tasteful design - better looking in person. The website photos don't do any justice. Each utensil in this set is larger than those in the Henckels set I'm replacing. The salad fork in this Mikasa set could easily be mistaken for a dinner fork. I also like the heft of this set - noticeably heavier than other sets I've owned. As for the reviews mentioning rusting, I've owned many flatware sets in my life and learned early on if you put the knives in the dishwasher and allow them to dry there you're going to see rust spots. I hand wash all my dinner knives so I don't run into this problem. Note: If you do see rust on any of your flatware it is easily removed by soaking those utensils in concentrated lemon juice for several hours and then rinsing with hot water.

I purchased this set to be used as our nice set of silverware, to be used on special occasions like Thanksgiving and Christmas meals.I like the look and feel of this Mikasa Bravo Stainless Steel Flatware Set. They are shiny, and a little larger and heavier than standard flatware sets I have seen and used, and seem to be of good quality.I opened them up a box at a time and washed them in our automatic dishwasher. They were washed in separate loads. Each time, I noticed that they had water stains. I want to note that we have a water softener system, and we use name brand detergent and we use mostly a generic Rinse Aid.The stains did wipe off when I use a towel, but it was a bit of a hassle having to do. Unfortunately, it''s too late to return b/c I threw out the packaging and washed them all one time so they are ready to be used whenever we decide to do so.

I have some and I was very happy to find the same design, I was looking for some additional for my set. Price is great!
