The media could not be loaded.  I bought these boots for my GSD mix to wear on the cement when it's hot outside or if we will be walking on sharp rocks. His are a little big because he needs an 8 on front but a 7 on back and I didn't really want to buy 2 sets. It would be awesome if they would sell them in sets of 2 so you could get exactly the boot sizes you needed without buying extras.I will likely buy another set eventually anyway, though, and just keep the extra boots as spares.That said, I really like these boots and so does my dog. They are super easy and quick to put on and they stay where you put them if you adjust the straps correctly. My pup even plays fetch in his and they never move.Seem to be well made and sturdy and I love the full orange color. My boy's color is hunter orange so I was happy to find these. They help him look very professional and keep his feet safe and comfortable in all terrain.

These are great considering the low end price. Had a good walk in the Iowa cold today and he, Sheepadoodle, was playful and peppy. He didnt mind them out in the cold!Only negative is they dont have much grip. Especially in the cold as the traction part is plastic. And in the cold they get tougher and slippery. But they protect his feet from the chemicals from the ice melt.They also run a bit bigger. I could have sized down. But at least there will be room for his fur when it grows back in.I'd buy again! Especially since the cost is a fraction of what I saw with other brands in the stores here.

I measured my dogs paws like they directed, and ordered the size, that their size chart said she fell under. However when I received the shoes, and tried them on her, they were way too big, so I had to return them. That part wasn't a big a deal to me. I was planning on buying them again, but in a smaller size. What did bother me, is that in order to return them, I had to pay $6. Which wouldn't be a big deal, if I had just bought a random size and hoped they'd fit. That would've been on me. However, since I took the time to measure her paws based on their guidelines, and ordered the size that she supposedly fell under, I feel that I shouldn't have to pay to return them. That is why I am giving this item an overall rating of 3. Accuracy gets 1 star, because the shoes were off by at least 2 sizes. Comfort and durability get 5 stars, as the product itself was well made.

My 14 year old golden retriever (Rosebud) slips around hardwood and non-carpeted floors & unfortunately our house is mostly this flooring. We were able to get our “figure skater” to finally walk around our house without slipping, walk down the stairs without worry, & stand up on her own without her legs slipping out from under her, causing her to do a middle split. She is so much happier (big smiles!!) & it was able to add quality & (possibly) even years to her life. After we put them on, it takes a couple minutes for her to walk normally without stomping around, but she doesn’t try to take them off at all because of how much it helps her move around. She’s my entire world & buying these boots was the best decision because I was able to enhance her life & according to her she has no places of heading out anytime soon (she was diagnosed with a terminal cancer 3 years ago & was given potentially “weeks” to live but she’s lively as ever & shows no sign of pain)!

We bought two pairs, tried both, tried combination of both. Have a shar pei / lab mix and she simply gets them off every time. These have little plastic discs on bottom, while I like the velcro close sock like tops, the plastic discs make for a weighted bottom which gives my dog leverage when shaking and pulling them off. Which she does then starts whimpering because of the industrial deicer everywhere. : ( So they have not worked for us.The best booties I had were for my last dog, it's been so long cant find them anymore, they were like scuba gear socks with velcro, what was good about them is the offered protection from cold and salt but formed to dogs feet. We are defaulting to Mushers, the ointment for her feet.

The media could not be loaded.  I have bought three different types of shoes from in store sellers. I was afraid to buy a shoe online because I did not want to get the wrong size. However, the size chart helped and I got the right size the first time. Size 6. Different story from buying in person they all seem to be a little to big or to small. And not to mention she was not really able to walk that good in the pair I bought from the store because they were just not of the same design. So I decided to give online a try. And let me tell you I am glad I did. These shoes fit her foot great and the double strap works great for the shoe not falling off as we are very active in rock climbing and hiking. The shoe design itself fits the anatomy of the dogs leg much better then any other shoe I have been able to find. I will buy more of these shoes defiantly . Hope this helped in your decision.

I've never met a dog who like his paws covered and would walk normally in shoes or socks. However my dog injured his paw pads and had to be bandaged and I bought these shoes to try to protect his feet while they healed. He willingly wore them but refused to walk far. When he did decide to move forward, the shoes were not shaped for back paws so they kept falling off (all 4 shoes are exactly the same). While these seemed like among the best ones out there, just be prepared to add these to your box of dog supplies that you don't use because they don't work (I'm looking at you, soft cone and gentle leader harness).
