ASICSMen's JB Elite V2.0 Wrestling Shoe

My high school junior's wrestling shoes "died" mid-season and we didn't have the time to run around trying to find a new pair so I took a chance on these because of the reviews here and elsewhere, and the price was great. He wore them for the 1st time today and came home singing their praises for 1) exceptionally comfortable 2) so light he said he could barely feel them on his feet and 3) excellent grip, which was something that was getting mixed reviews from what I'd read. It's rare that I get such high praise and a sincere "thanks mom!" but these wrestling shoes were a big hit! I hope they last thru the rest of this season and at least part way thru next year. Also, we found the size accurate for what he normally wears in sneakers/sports shoes.

Fit VERY snugly but felt good and supportive. I did quite a bit of Pro Wrestling training in these and never had sore feet, at least from the shoes that is lol. Grip is there when needed, extremely lightweight, and they look cool.

My son wrestles as the varsity heavy weight for our High School. He is 15, 6'1, and weighs 240lbs. These shoes have held up all season and if his foot would stop growing would most likely last another. Thanks for making a great Quality Shoe for my Giant!

These are a bit smaller than expected. I wear 10.5 usually. I ordered 10.5.If I don't clip my toe nails, my toes hurt. Not to say that I leave my toes unclipped, but just to give example to how tight these are.I can make do with these, but they are definitely tight. I box in these. Fits like a sock. Able to pivot easily without ripping the webbing between my toes. Good connection to the ground. Enough support in my arches. Red is like the color of bloodshed, which makes my thirst for blood drive me crazy.

these look awesome. My son loves the feel. perfect amount of freedom on the upper and perfect stiff flex on the sole. Grip points on the pivot edges are perfect. someone did some great engineering and homework on this shoe! PLUS it supports our Golden boy Burroughs!!! get another gold JB!! Rio 2016!!!

We ordered on a Friday afternoon and received our order Monday morning! We chose expedited shipping and it came sooner than predicted. The shoe was everything we expected and we are happy with our purchase. This is our second pair of Asics wrestling shoes so we knew that the shoe does run small. My child typically wears a size 2 but we ordered a 4 (his current wrestling shoe is a 3.5) and it fits perfect! The only issue I had was I was given the wrong tracking number so I was a little freaked when it was delivered to another state but I contacted the shipper and they had gotten back to me an hour later with the correct information. Overall good experience.

I'm a powerlifter and I bought these specifically for deadlifting because in competition you must wear either shoes or deadlift slippers, which are not only unsupportive, they suck at gripping the floor. They work perfectly and are a cheaper alternative to the Sabo deadlift shoe, which is the top of the line shoe for deadlifting, although many would disagree and use Chucks. These are as flat to the ground as you can get with a shoe and very stable with excellent grip. Highly recommended for powerlifters needing a good deadlift shoe

They look great and are light as a feather. However, the shoelaces are essentially junk (weak/frayed). Blistering on the outside of the ball of my planting foot. It is most likely the breaking in period that's causing it. Overall good shoe, better shoelaces would help considerably.
