I ordered these as a replacement for my tired and worn original Weber grates that I’ve had for 5 years. I ordered them with replacement stainless steel flavouriser bars. I’ll review those separately. Unfortunately tuned up a little late in the day for my Sunday BBQ but that’s certainly my issue not desertcarts. The grates are finished perfectly and are a substantial weight which you would expect from cast iron. These will most certainly hold heat and give a great sear to your protein of choice! I will put these in to use tomorrow and probably should have held of the review until then but hey, I’m very impressed so far. They do have fairly wide gaps between the bars. That was my only gripe. Really skinny sausages are a risk. Other than that I would buy these again in a heartbeat.
