5/8" 2PCS CNC Lathe Carbide Indexable Threading Turning Tool Holder SER1616H16 + SEL1616H16 with 2PCS 16ER/IR AG60 BP010 Indexable Carbide Turning Insert Blade

Very good quality. I knew I would have to mill the thickness down to fit my AXA 1 tool holders. When I did it was evident that they are the standard medium hard steel, likely a 4140 type. So, it’s not some cheap mild steel shank. The carbide inserts are also the real deal. Quite the bargain.

These seem to be very accurate for the money. Don't know how well they would hold up under heavy production but they havent given me any problems to date under the hobbyist level machining I do.

These are well made and came with the inserts. I cannot find any fault with these threading tools as far as the fit Finnish and feel. There are no burs, and the inserts fit without any problems. if you are going to do any threading you will likely need to thread left hand at some point so by getting the set you will be ready for any situation.

Excellent quality 1 insert is worth what you pay for both tools.

Fit and finish of the tool holders was mediocre at best. Several non critical edges looked to be hastily hand filed and not straight. The product listing for this tool does not include a part number for the backing piece that sits under the carbide, and the first time I used it the insert cracked, the loose piece got pulled down into the backing piece and broke it as well. I can’t seem to locate a part number for the backer so now the tool is useless. The final straw for me was when I tried to get more info from the manufactures website (printed on the container the tool came in) and instead of a CNC tooling website, it went to some awful Chinese porn aggregator site. No thanks, returning the tool for a more reputable brand.

Excelentes porta herramientas los insertos que traen son de muy baja calidad no pude terminar ni una cuerda en 4140 sin romperlos todos pero poniéndole uno de marca trabajaron perfecto si los pides te a la mano ya unos insertos para trabajar
