Worked good from my old metal Eagle 2.5
Worked for my old metal Eagle model SP-2 1/2. The other universal plastic kits did not work well with this gas can. I was able to use the spout from the universal set with this cap.

Didn't fit
I'm not the most mechanically inclined, but I'm not sure why one of the product photos has a can with a 2 1/4 inch opening when these adaptors only go up to 1 3/4. I bought them hoping the largest would fit my old no name gas can and it did not, so I will be returning them.

Saved my old gas cans.
Great finding these! I almost threw out my old steel gas cans. Cans are not rusted and in good condition but useless without nozzles for pouring. Thanks for providing them new life.

None of them fit
This is just a heads-up that none of the adapters fit what I thought of as a bog-standard metal jerrycan. Mine are Briggs & Stratton 5-gallon metal cans with a nominal 1-3/4” 4TPI male threaded fitting welded onto the can. Made in 2004, great cans but the detachable nozzles are shot. The adapters in this kit seem decent quality so the one star is merely to draw the attention of prospective buyers with cans like mine.

Able to use my metal gas can again
Adapted perfect to my metal gas can. And best of all does not leak.

Old 5gal eagle can
Works, but I had to remove the gasket so I could get a decent fit. Not anywhere near as solid as the can it is mounted on. For about a $30 spout, to say I’m a bit disappointed would be an understatement. I will probably end up buying a new $80 can with the attached funnel and that’s what I was trying to avoid.
