Great strap to give you extra security when you don't want to use a full camera strap!
First, Peak Design does a great job with design and quality of their camera accessories, this hand strap is no exception. It's quick and easy to install/uninstall, is adjustable for hand size, and feels very secure. I bought this for when I don't want to have a full sized strap on my camera(also a Peak Design product and also easy to install/uninstall). The full size strap can tend to get in the way and this hand strap frees the camera up while still providing security that should I get bumped into, or my hands get sweaty, I don't have to worry about dropping $7k worth of camera gear onto the payment. Very happy with this strap!

So good!
I have one for each camera now. They are stiff at first and need to break in a bit. And you need to figure out the bottom attachment, then how it fits your hand or knuckles. Fine, it form fits well. I feel so much more secure with it on there. Example, just went on safari, so bouncing around in a truck. Having this as well as a shoulder strap made camera management so easy with 1 hand. Now going to sports and such it's similarly a solid grip where I just feel tighter control when aiming. This one is top tier of all the gadgets so far.

Good feel and design, but the clasp can sometimes slip a little
When I had a regular strap on my camera, I'd normally loop it around my right wrist so that I'd have a way to catch the camera if it slipped from my hand. Since started carrying around longer lenses, I got the Peak Design Slide camera strap and moved the attachment point to the bottom of the camera (on the tripod connection), so I can't do that anymore. I purchased this so that I'd have some extra protection from falling (and it is convenient sometimes to just drop my hand by my side and keep hold of the camera), but it took a bit to get both this and the Slide strap on at the same time and have it be comfortable. I ended up having the Peak Design plate rotated at a 45 degree angle from the frame and I attached both the Slide strap and the hand strap to the same socket which points to the battery cover. I also tend to fiddle with the knobs on my Canon R6 MkII while I'm setting up the shot, which means I need a bit of room to do so. I find that I'll occasionally need to tighten the strap up a little bit to keep it snug, and the knob fiddling is probably what loosens it up again. I think if I could find a baseplate for my camera, I could attach either the slide strap or the hand strap (or both) to a bottom anchor spot (underneath the right anchor slot) and that would probably create an better experience overall.

Perfect for disabled photographers
I have nerve damage and drop things constantly. I actually use this in conjunction with pd slide strap and a capture clip. When rolling around in my wheel chair its in the clip so the camera can't roll into anything that might damage it. Whem I'm ready to take another shot I snug my hand into this clutch strap BEFORE releasing it from the clip. This feels so secure in reality I don't need the strap (but the same could be said for netting under an expert tight rope walker, the one in a thousand chance I drop the camera anyway, I'll be glad I wore the strap as a backup.) This is obviously a VERY specific use case but what I can say more broadly is the clutch really grips my hand almost like how a suction cup grips a wall. Yes you can move and it completely ignoring it it can fall off but with very minimal attention it is secure and confident. If you hate having things on your neck this is the most secure of its type I've tried. If you have a smaller camera get the micro one this is too big to stuff in a pocket.

No more worrying about dropping my camera from hand fatigue
I am a photographer and this Peak Design Clutch Camera Hand Strap is a life saver. This is my second purchase, I liked the first one so much that I bought one for my other camera. If you do any kind of event photography or even travel, this hand strap helps relieve some of the pressure of holding the camera. For long shoots this is a must, bc your hand gets so tired of the tight grip, plus I don't have to worry about dropping my camera from hand fatigue.

Secure comfortable grip
I had been searching for the Canon E 1 grip which is no longer made. This was the closest I could find. When I first took it out of the box I thought kinda of coated plasticky pad. However, once I had mounted on my Canon 5D mk iv and tested it out I changed my mind. It works great. Love the ability to quickly sinch it tight for carying and ability to loosen quickly for finger movements to access the buttons. It's part of a system and you can build upon it. I liked it so much I went out and purchased the sholder strap afterward. I recommend this product.

Great tool, easy to use and highly effective
Bought this recently as having neck problems when using a stock strap on my nikon DSLR. Strap fits nicely onto pretty much any camera, but also comes with a small hook/adaptor ring for use if required. Comes with a plate on the bottom for attaching the anchor to the underside (requires allen key, and is a Swiss-arca style). Also comes with 2 anchors (so one spare). Strap itself is fast to attach and adjust on the fly as required. As per the video, they recommend having it tight for holding, but to loosen slightly when shooting -- to enable you to access the controls better. I've found so far it is quite nice material, not too sweaty or hard/rough, and it's really helped me up my game -- greatly reduced sore fingers from carrying a camera one-handed. Also really helpful as it acts like an extension of the arm -- so you can leave fingers open/free, and effectively carry it as if it were a part of you. By strapping onto the hand, it will put pressure on a stronger and more sturdy part of the body than fingers. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm hoping to pair this with the Cotton Carrier Skout for carrying my camera when not needing to shoot. According to the website, the anchors should fit underneath any tripod mount or other attachment on the underside. Only downside is the Peak Design products are a little more pricey, probably a little more so than they should be... But they are fantastic products and saving my finger/hands/neck for £35 seems reasonable enough (I'll be using it at least weekly, if not more).
