I bought these for use in the kitchen. Compared to non coated cut resistant gloves that I've previously owned, the polyurethane coating makes a huge difference on your ability to grip wet vegetables when cutting. It also keeps your hands dry when cutting just washed veg. Gloves that don't have the coating get damp very quickly, making them uncomfortable to wear, meaning you don't want to put them on defeating the purpose of having them.Haven't had the misfortune of nearly chopping a finger tip off (yet) whilst wearing these ones. However the cut prevention material seems to the same type, as various others I've owned. They do work, but beware the material itself will get cut with a sharp enough knife (like all of mine). The gloves serve their purpose though, as they reduce the cut enough to stop your finger getting slashed or worse as the glove takes the cut, but you will still need to replace them after a hefty cut across the material.Seeing as I am a "Happy Slashy" type of home cook that often gets distracted like Dug from Up with a "squirrel" moment, I can't recommend safety gloves of this nature enough and since these have the extra layer of safety by having the palm side coated in polyurethane these are a must a great kitchen tool to own.

I bought these in the search for gloves that would be thorn proof for pulling bramble - these are not. I figured if I spent a bit more I'd come away with a better product but these are almost exactly what I can buy in the local wilko store for about £3! They are not waterproof as the backside is material (also not nettle proof on that side either). The rubber palms keep out most things, but not thorns which was why I bought them in the first place. As they'd been used in the garden I couldn't return them, but wish I could have for the cost of them!

These gloves arrived quickly & were as described by the seller. They are really comfy & flexible but also heavy duty. They have nice ribbed cuffs which keep the dirt out but aren't too tight. Not had for too long so can't comment on how water resistant they are, nor have I tried to cut them to see how cut resistant they are but they really do seem very sturdy. They have certainly protected my hands from my very thorny roses, which is more than a more expensive pair from the local gardening store managed to do.

Have not had time to tell how durable they are but they fit and allow me to move my hands

Comfortable. ok for some gardening tasks but not for handling holly or roses (no protection against thorns style punctures). Good grip and good for building/construction work. Surprisingly the grip material is great for brushing dog hair off clothing
