Callaway Golf Supersoft Golf Balls

Great golf ball.

These Callaway Golf Balls have a soft feel and great distance! I like the orange color as I can track the ball better than other colors.

Ok, let me start by saying I didn’t want to like this ball. I’ve never been a fan of colored balls. They have always seemed gimmicky to me. Reminds me of a driving range ball too much. I decided to give the green ones a shot. Wow was I wrong. These balls feel and look more quality than the white version. What I was most impressed with was the fact that I strike these balls much better. I’m assuming it has something to do mentally or maybe with depth perception. I’m not sure what makes these so much easier to hit for me. These balls preformed as good for me as ProV1. The balls are extremely easy to find in tall grass. They are easier to see during flight. They also don’t discolor and stain like white balls. I just ordered another 3 dozen tonight and will continue to order every month and store them. I will never go back to white balls again. Hopefully these stay in Callaways line up for a long time to come. You will not be disappointed, especially at this price point.

I have played with Calloway Supersoft balls for a few years now. But recently I have had difficulty finding my ball after hitting it. So I decided to try these VERY bright red balls. I have played with them several times now and have traded off using my white Supersoft ball and the new red one. Here is what I've found: The distance seems a little shorter than the white balls and they are definitely slower around the green. So I've had to hit them a little harder to go the same distance. That said, once I got used to it, I really like the feel. The difference must be related to the matt versus shiny skin since the color clearly can't affect the shot.

I have tried just about every ball here and this is my favorite balance of quality and affordability. Less priced balls feel plastic when held with these. I can’t say about distance, but when I get a hold of one it goes just as far as any brand , but I really notice it on and around the greens. Great feel.

I’m a relatively new, average golfer at best, with my biggest issue being consistency. I played a round with these balls and had good to great tee shots all day. Irons and short game were solid as well. I realize the ball only does as well as you hit it, but I’ve been playing lower price balls (avg $1/ball, these are $1.75) and I do feel a difference in the way these come off the club. If you’re in that “in-between” level like I am, I think these are worth a few extra bucks. I did find the orange color useful on balls that veered into the rough. Played 18 and only lost 2 balls all day (both to the water).
