Wife and kids love this game. Wife plays more than kids do. Case was broken but game works fine. Would recommend to any hedgehog fan.

Great levels, gameplay, and 3D-capable feature is AWESOME
This game has the excellent 2D gameplay of the classic games, and Sonic the Hedgehog 4, but also the very fun 3D gameplay of Sonic Unleashed (which I actually thought was a great game). For how cheap this game is, I would say it's one of the best values you can find as far as Xbox 360 games. You can probably get better games at the forty to sixty dollar mark, but for so much less you can get this excellent homage to all the previous Sonic games. The music is so awesome too. When you're in the overworld area to select a level, as you pass by the levels you hear an amazing arrangement of the level's theme song redone as a Lindsey Sitrling-esque violin rendition. I would love to have the soundtrack with the full versions of these songs on them.I won't spoil anything, but the very last boss is kind of dumb. But the other bosses and other levels are all pretty great. There's plenty of replayability with mini-games/challenges and red stars & other collectables. You can even unlock a Genesis original version of the first Sonic the Hedgehog game. Finally, if you have a 3D TV, the 3D mode on this game is FREAKIN' SWEET. If nothing else, it was worth the purchase just to show off what gaming in 3D is like. Most games do not support this, and many that do are boring and barely worth playing, so it was a welcome addition to be able to use my TV's 3D feature on more than just Disney Blu-rays. Buy this game.

"TOTALLY AWESOME!"
Sonic is back with amazing features. We only received this game today, and we had a blast. Sonic can now do much more than ever before. He can perform Spin Attacks; Roll; Jump; Spin Dash; and more. The graphics are fantastic, and my daughter loves the game. The game offers 2 Sonics, and 2 ways to play. This is indeed an epic game, loaded with mysterious power. They must embark on an adventure to defeat their enemies. This game is so much more exciting than the original. There are several colorful characters, you can unlock new challenges, and the music is awesome. In addition, there is a great deal of opportunity for achievements. There is so much more, including taking on infamous bosses. The super Sonic speed is incredible, and this game provides many fun-filled hours of entertainment. I was amazed just watching my daughter play it, then joined in. This was a Christmas present she loved, and has become a favorite in her Xbox game collection. I will be gifting this game to friends on special occasions. The price was also good. Highly recommended!

Sonic is back
Growing up in the 90s, Sonic the Hedgehog was my game of choice. I loved Sonic, loved everything about the games, and played them non-stop. Having been a Sonic fan all my life, I've seen my fair share of games come and go, and recently (past 10 years recently) have been incredibly disappointed with what I've seen.Sonic Adventure was, in my opinion, the last "good" sonic game. One that was genuinely fun to play. It was likely a lot of Sonic fans saw this as fun as it was the first true departure from the side-scrolling platformer and into the 3D world, but it worked, despite some camera-issues and glitches here and there. Simply, it was fun, and that's all you really want to expect out of a Sonic game. And that's why I love Sonic Generations. Its simply fun. Its less gimmicky than some recent games, and takes you back to a time when Sonic games were all about straight-forward fun, with quirky, straight-forward and entertaining level design.Like the older games, the levels in Sonic Generations DO get harder the further you progress. Not impossible, but just harder. Many of the recent Sonic games just haven't had that natural progression.I'd highly recommend getting this if you have ever loved a Sonic game. Its fun, straight-forward, throws-back to the good-ol 90s Sonic games. The soundtrack is quite phenomenal as well, so look forward to that!
