Classy Kitty 55" 5 Story Step-Up Cat Tree with Sky Lookout Coco Brown 23x22x55

This post is relatively sturdy and is made of decent quality materials. My 2 year old, 9 pound kitty fits perfectly in the top. He is a very agile cat, but does struggle somewhat to get from the top down to the next ledge. The platforms are not very large and are at somewhat awkward angles for climbing and descending. He seems to manage okay, but I think an older cat would have more difficulty. All in all, my cat and I are happy with the tree.

This is the third cat tree I've purchased through Amazon. All have been from different manufacturers and this is the least desirable of them all. I bought it for a outdoor, covered cat enclosure which already had a smaller tree and a 2-room cat condo and because I could get it in natural beige. This intrigued me due to the steps that lead up to the sky lookout as my kitty is a climber. The lookout is large enough for my 12 pound cat. However, the tree wobbles and has tipped over once when my cat was jumping down from it. The carpet covering the tree is not good quality. The sisal rope posts get used daily and are holding up well. The hanging toy occasionally intrigues the cat -- more so when it's blowing in the wind. Considering this was the most expensive of the cat trees I bought, I figured it would be a little better quality. I'm sure it won't hold up as long as the other two, but by then, maybe the cat will be interested in a different type of tree. He does love to lay in the lookout and watch the birds, and it looks great in the enclosure. I think it would be more stable if you put it up against a wall and on a more solid surface than an outdoor deck. If you really like the design of this tree, order it. I'm giving it four stars because the design of the tree is great.

We were looking for a sturdy cat tree for our two older cats. The ledges were tiny and so was the top shelf. Plus the directions to assemble were hard to follow and understand. My cats would have easily tipped the tree over and would not fit on the ledges to sleep on. I have average size cats and the manufacturer says the tree is for a large cat family. The shag carpet was chintzy and cheap feeling. We bought another cat tree from amarakat and love it. It is everything we had hoped this tree would be: easy to assemble, high quality fleece and most importantly my cats love it and fit on all the shelves and ledges.

My cat loves this! It does not wiggle when she jumps on it as other towers do. I would recommend this item to others. The material is heavy, so it stays in place! Love it!

Platforms to small but cats seem to have taken to it anyway

Instructions could have been better. I found the poles to be quite loose after it was assembled. Going back and hand tightening each section of pole by twisting it helped tremendously. I like all the sisal because I think it holds up better to scratching. When choosing which tree to buy, I had visions of my somewhat active 15 pound cat racing up and down the steps on this tree. Unfortunately, it's steep and the amount of space between each step doesn't allow for much speed in climbing. But he seems happy just to sit and enjoy the elevation and the enhanced view from the window.

Unbelievably complicated to put together. Missing parts. Will not assemble, completely useless. Super scratchy type of sisal that is actually needle like. Thank goodness I didn't pay full price. Garbage.

This is a good cat tree. Small base, which is nice in small house. Cat climbed it and found the top bed immediately. Only complaint is I wish the top bed space was larger. Nine pound cat barely fits in it. Made very well too.
