I'm so glad I went for this, its small and incredibly easy to use - just add a little water to the bottom and turn on with the lid on and its done in 3 mins. I tried the boiling in a pan method, which I never felt comfortable with, and the foldable cup with a lid in a microwave method, but this is the best. I know my cup is sterilised properly and its done so easily! I've been using this for over a year and its still working really well.

I really recomend it if you use a menstrual cup. In my case, I share the house with more flatmates, and at the beggining I was boiling my cup in the kitchen with a tiny sauce pan I had but I was recommended Pixie Cup Sterilizer and I am really happy. Now, I have it in my bedroom by my beauty products and its tiny size (you don't need it to be any bigger), just pour a little bit of water and put the cup. So it's cleaner, faster and I think more effective. I normally clean my cup and leave it while I am showering, and then when I am finished use the cup. So no worries about boiling you cup in the kitchen or microwave, you do things meanwhile (It takes 2-3 min to boil the water and then it's recommened to leave the cup inside for 10 min with the steam and also to cool it down), and ready to be used.

Saves time and I like the idea of this device only being used for cleaning my cups. It fits any cups not just Pixie cups!

Use it always to desinfect my cup, never had any issues and works really well. Have had it for a couple years now and still working.

The steamer seems to work well and I have no complaints about it's functionality. The listing says "Colour name: White". I received a steamer with a brown wood-effect base. There was no indication that the colour of the steamer may vary (though there is one that says the packaging may vary). Not a huge issue but it will clash with the decor in my bathroom so now I feel I need to find a cupboard space for it instead of leaving it out on a shelf as I had planned. I find the giant bible quote on the box extremely off-putting.

I love it! Makes sterilising my menstrual cup and other small objects (I used it for my contact lens case, just make sure it’s completely dry before storing lenses again) so easy! Click of a button and there you go. If the button keeps unclicking when trying to use the unit again, give it a few minutes for the temperature to drop and It’ll work again. I thought mine was broken but it’s just a safety feature to stop it overheating. Clever little unit and I would totally recommend, especially for new cup user that lives with family or other people that’s not totally comfortable with boiling in a shared pan or microwave. Keeps things simple, easy and most of all, sterile.

The menstral cup steamer is a must buy for any cup/disc user. I have it sitting on my vanity unit, it's very discreet and quiet when in use. I've been using a cup and disc for a few years now and always found boiling it after use was a pain and also not ideal having to have a separate pan to boil it on the stove. The other half was always questioning what I was cooking. Now I use the wash once my cycle has finished and then pop it in to sanitise before popping back into the pouch and then I sanitise again at the start of my cycle so I know it's all safe to use. If you're thinking of getting this for yourself or our daughter, get it. You won't regret it.

Very easy to use and is nice and compact. I used the flex disc in mine rather than the cup and it works perfectly!
