Love it...Thanks
Very happy with everything! The shipping was on time and the product it's self feels and sounds soothing, I fell in love with it at first sight. I've own harmonicas before like three I believe back in my younger years (I'm 20 now) and throughout those years I was on and off with playing by my own practice, no one taught me, I just enjoyed doing my thing on it and getting better. Playing the harmonica made me feel special even though the people around me were prob annoyed. It been awhile sense I've played/owed a harmonica until I fractured my hand and tore two tendents in my shoulder mountain biking; so I ended up out of work and bored out of my mind in bed so I went on Amazon and scrolled through all the harmonicas I had no clue about brands Nor models. My search was for something that will be best for me that would satisfy me forever. I also knew I was a beginner too so After searching and reading reviews I came down to this harmonica that I fell in love with because I heard it is easy to play for a beginner but is made to perform like a professional, also I heard the quality is great. The looks and color with the Symbol sold me and just puts the icing on top of the beatful cake for me. After impatiently waiting like three days my joy was delivered on time. Everthing was packaged nicely. After I tore through the Bubble wrap bag I saw the Beauty. The case felt nice on the outside. After I opened the case I finally saw the beaty and I also noticed the nice solf lining on the interior of the case. Then bam! I fercly but gently grabbed and picked it up. The weight felt nice and the quality of the harmonica felt solid. After playing It I was surprised how good It helped me sound lol. I love EVERYTHING about this peice it's EVERYTHING I wanted! I hope I never loose this item as I will try to have it in my pocket for the rest of my life. Thanks to all who helped me receive this! Here's some pics...

Whether you play seriously or are looking for your first harp, Suzuki's Hammond is a great choice.
My third purchase of this product- years later and I have the same experience. I've given my harps away to people and they've loved them. This one is for me going forward. I don't need several keys but it's a great harp in my experience in C. Onto the previous review.-I normally play a blues harp- I own several keys of the Hohner blues with wood combs (around $30-$45 each one). I also play with a harness so I can play guitar along with the harp for some tunes. Being said, the body of this harmonica does not have 'wings' so if your harness uses those to grip the harp from the edges then you this won't work for you. If your style of harness grips the harp from the top and bottom (like a sandwich) then you could probably use this harmonica, although you would likely destroy the handsome finish on the instrument. The sound of this harmonica is phenomenal! I am instantly in love with the quality of the Hammond, it is warm, responsive and easy to bend notes, gives clear precise single notes and chords are just... wow. The quality of the body is another plus-plus for this piece. It really has a bit of heft to it which I like very much. I haven't used this to really wail but don't doubt that it can. Its easy to open and one can note some serious craftsmanship went into it. If you're not big into harmonica's you could get away with something cheaper but that's going to be your experience. CHEAPER.If you buy only one harp in your life and its not a Chromatic of some kind, try this in the key of C (fairly common tuning) Lee Oscar also makes a good and lighter weight harp. I would say The Suzukl Hammond is better constructed than the Lee Oscar.

Wonderful!!--Would Recommend for Someone Learning the Harmonica
I am just learning the harmonica, and I have done considerable research on the Internet and by reading books on what type of instrument to buy and what key. Most sources seem to recommend the key of C, and a good quality harmonica--at least $30 or so. So I decided on this Suzuki based on several reasons--it is in the key of C, Suzuki is among the handful of companies in the world making high quality harps, and this particular model--the Promaster Hammond--has received great reviews both here on Amazon and by other reviewers on the Internet. So far, I have found it to be an excellent choice! The tone is quite beautiful--as other reviewers here have noted, and it seems solidly made and beautifully finished. It has some weight to it, so it just feels good to hold. So, if you are interested in this harmonica but "on the fence" I really think you be very pleased if you go ahead and buy it!

These are great harmonicas
These are great harmonicas and as an extra bonus they don't grab your mustache hairs. The marine band style of cover plates that are used on so many harmonicas will catch a mustache hair and yank it. It's very painful. The Hamond never does this due to the shape of the cover plates. My only regret is that I could not find a harmonica in the key of "D" on Amazon. D is a very common key to play cross harp in when a guitar player is playing in the key of "A". Amazon if you're listening I had to go to Ebay to find the key of D.
