Yep. We have 10 and as they all have Cardo Mesh sets (slim, bold) the all chatting at the same time. It's great

Can you still hear the speakers when wearing earplugs?

Yes you can. The volume level is sufficient get past earplugs. If anything the sound quality is improved by the use of earplugs as it trims off a lot of the top end, the same way the earplugs are reducing the wind noise.

Will these units connect to other brands of intercom?

How to pair to a non-Cardo headset using universal connectivity (Cardo Gateway) In order to pair your unit with a non-Cardo headset please do the following: 1. Start intercom pairing on your unit (please refer to your product's pocket guide or user manual on how to do it). 2. Tap the phone button to start Cardo Gateway pairing 3. On the other unit start mobile phone pairing 4. Wait For the paring to complete Good luck.

Return under warranty. The usb housing has come loose after the 5th charge. Supplier emailed saying I can return it through you under 2year warranty

According to Cardo UK, the earlier units had a different design on the attachment of the USB socket to the motherboard, which put pressure on the soldered lugs. This has now been changed. I use a magnetic type USB lead, thereby avoiding having to plug in the USB.
