Looks great and works great
Looks great and works great! Charges both batter & phone. I've got an LG G3 from Sprint w/ a Spigen Air cushion case which is a bit larger than the thin case, yet phone w/ case still fits fine. As to the reviewers that say this charger does not fit w/ both phone & case, perhaps they don't know how to take off the cradle addon. The charger arrives w/ the cradle on, so you have to take it off to use w/ a phone case. The cradle addon does not come off easily....took me a while to figure out how to detach it since the instructions foldout that came w/ the charger is rather simplistic and leaves out details to encourage customer ingenuity (I'm guessin').

the phone fits nice and snug
Phone seats well with a slim case on. I have both TPU and a Spigen slim armor case and with each, the phone fits nice and snug, and charges fine. I only have one battery, so I haven't tried the spare port. I would prefer to have the LED indicator on the front, tho, but that's just a persoanl preference.

HORRIBLE UNIT, DO NOT BUY.
This dock is horrible, after a few weeks of using it, the usb port to connect the charger to a wall unit completely crapped out and stopped working. I think I charged my phone 4 times successfully on this dock before it was rendered unusable.

Bad fit makes it feel cheap
Everyone says it "fits perfectly" but it doesn't. The phone flops around in the cradle, which is annoying and makes it feel cheap.I have a very slim case, so it doesn't fit with the insert, but without the insert it's loose and the phone tilts to one side or the other. This is not great design, folks.

Great if you dont use a case
Charges phone great but I have the LG g3 and am not able to have any case on it or it doesn't fit in the dock. Every time I want to charge it I have to remove the case which I find annoying.

Very well designed phone dock
This is the third RND dock I've purchased. They all fit like a glove, even with a slim fitting case on the phone. Very well designed, and very stable. They don't tip over easily like some docks do. I even take one with me when I travel to use my phone as an alarm clock. Highly recommended!

Exactly what I was looking for
Works very well. My set included two cables -- a data cable and a charging only cable, which is an appreciated bonus. I have the Caseology slim case on my G3 (which is another great product) and the dock fit is perfect. This cradle presents the phone at the perfect angle for nightstand use, and can even be laid on it's side with the phone docked if you want to watch a video. I like having a spare battery charged and ready to go when I take off on a long day trip somewhere, and this setup makes that easy. Buy it -- you'll like it.

Sturdy, well made, and inexpensive, but could have been designed slightly better...
I originally bought one of these for my S3. It's sturdy and stable, but you need to fiddle with inserting the spare battery into the charger slot a little so that it engages the contacts properly. Design note: the spare battery (not included, of course) and LED light showing the spare battery charging state (red/green) are hidden behind the phone and/or stand itself. Why not simply relocate the light to the front below the USB jack so that the user can see the charging status (off=no battery; red=charging; green=100% ready) without having to turn over the stand? Also, although the dock has a removable insert so that you can place in your G3 without having to remove it from a slim case, the USB jack was still just a little too short to engage through my slightly less-slim case. Thus, I will have to take the phone out of its case before placing in this dock. Sorry, I'm an electrical engineer and, thus, find these kinds of little design quirks a little nagging - but that's just me of course.
