Better than TotalScan
I bought the 3-in-1 transducer to replace a TotalScan unit that was damaged by a submerged tree stump. It is connected to an HDS Carbon, and used primarily for DownScan/SideScan imaging. With the latest software update installed both the DownScan and SideScan screens are much better than the StructureScan transducer produced. Using Downscan overlay on the traditional 2D sonar page produces much crisper images. The Fish Reveal feature on DownScan is incredible in detail, once you learn and set up the proper configurations for sensitivity and contrast.
