I had a Galaxy S4 that I always carried around in a fake leather pouch. I really liked that case, but when I upgraded to the S5, the company that made that case did not make one that fit the larger S5.I bought the Snugg case and it's exactly what I was looking for. The quality of the leather is great and it looks like it can take a beating without falling apart. As the name implies, it is a snug fit for my phone, but now that I've broken it in it's not as difficult to pull it out of the pouch as it was at first.The credit card (or cash, license, etc.) holder in the front and the magnetic pull tab holder in the back are nice touches.Highly recommended.

I bought the black leather(not sure, but I'll call it so) wallet for my S5.I like it very much. It's exactly what I expected, even a little nicer for the price.The leather looks and feels like leather and the stitching is perfect.There's an elastic pull tab to get the unit out. The unit fits too snug for it to work.The wallet is lined with a soft foam and does not seem to be scratching my screen.There's a pocket for credit cards or license etc. I can't imaging getting more than 2 or 3 cards in there.OK, "the BEEF". The unit slides in pretty snug, so much so, that the one time I dared to slide it to the bottom, I almost could not get it out.What I've been doing is storing the unit in the wallet, say half - three quarters of the way in hoping this will break it in. It seems to be getting more loose, but only time will tell.UPDATE It's only a couple of days and the case is at least 50% looser. It's still a bit snug, but it's fine. I just put the phone in there and lleft if overnight a couple of times

This is truth in advertising. The case is so snug that i can barely get my phone out. The first time I put the phone in it took 10 minutes to get it out, and i was afraid I might break it. I've done everything i can to stretch it out, including everything mentioned in the other reviews, but a day or two later it's too tight again. The quality it very good, but the one I got is just way too tight. I'm shopping for something else.Update: Snugg emailed me a few days after posting the above review. It was polite, but they insinuated that perhaps I had the wrong phone - the S5 Active or something else larger. Well, I don't, and told them so. They also offered to return/replace the cover, but I never heard from them again. I decided to try to stretch the cover again and was finally successful after shoving in a piece of wood cut to be just a little bigger than my phone into the cover overnight. This finally made the thing usable, but yesterday I noticed that the back of my phone now has two brown stains on it, steaks up the sides where its tightest...it's three months old. I'm very unhappy with this, so I'm changing my rating to one star. Total Fail.

After writing my initial review reporting staining on white-backed Moto X, a Snugg representative contacted me reporting that staining should not happen and then sent me a replacement product free of charge. The replacement works beautifully, and DOES NOT STAIN. The photo attached to this review is of the staining caused by my defective product, and I would remove it if I knew how. So please ignore the photo, it does not accurately represent the product in question. I am very impressed with the working product, and even more impressed with Snugg as a company. They went out of their way to ensure I was satisfied with my purchase, and have completely succeeded.If you receive a product that stains your device, contact Snugg and explain your problems. Judging from my experience, I have no doubt that they would be willing to send you a free replacement.As for the product itself, I am very satisfied. It feels very durable, and appears to have hard foam or something similar on each side making it firm but also thicker than other products I've seen. This is more than just floppy leather, and certainly feels up to the task of protecting my phone from stray impacts, but be aware that this isn't just a thin protective skin if that's what you're looking for. The card slot can comfortably hold 2-3 cards without feeling too tight, but I personally think having more than one card would be kinda difficult to manage, because it's pretty tricky to remove the second card without also removing the one that sits on top.I don't have any desire to find something new. This product meets my needs perfectly.

I made a mistake, I did not read the reviews for this product. When I got the phone case I immediately shoved my phone into it. And then spent the next 10 minutes trying to get it out. At that point the "pull strap" didn't lift it at all, it just stretched out. THEN I read the reviews. A few of them said it would stretch out, so I decided to try it. I put the phone back in and left it overnight.After two days the pull strap would pull it up about 3/4", enough to get a bit of a grip on it, but not enough to really make much of a difference.After a week, I now have about a 50/50 chance of getting my phone out in time to answer a call. Not a successful product in my opinion. The designers really need to hit the drawing board again. Make the strap pull the phone up AT LEAST 2" and make it just a tad less snug.My husband is going to make me a wood blank that is a tad larger than my phone and we're going to try to stretch it out a bit more. If it doesn't work, I'm going to find a Krusell pouch like I had with my last phone. I really liked that one. But they only have it in black, which is why I went with this one. I may have to settle on the color though, because so far this one is just not working out.

Product has a lot of quality, nice feel and looks. The reason I gave 3 stars is because its way too tight (I used the phone without a case obviously) which made it extremely hard to remove from pouch even lifting the tag. Is a great product if you want to use it to keep your phone safe and keep it from rubbing against things that might scratch it. But is not as functional when you have to get it out of the pouch quickly to answer a phone call. I ended up getting another case for the phone to use full time, and keep this one as a back up.

Had it for a few months now. Love that it protects my phone firmly. The only downside is pulling the tab to release the phone.

Well worth the price and great product.

Too tight

Ich war am Anfang etwas skeptisch, weil dieser Hülle echt ziemlich eng. Aber mit der Zeit wird es genau richtig! Das Suncase zum Beispiel weitet sich zu sehr.Mittlerweile bin ich echt zufrieden. Das Fach ist sehr praktisch!
