Why more expensive than the 9” plates?

Could be they did not make as many of them because they did not come with 16 piece set the 9”,did.

Are these plates oven safe , for food that requires to put on oven safe plate and heat for 25 minutes @ 350%?

From what the manufacturer recommends, these are safe at up to 350 degrees in a conventional oven, and I have used them in the oven without problem. Do not use them in a toaster oven however, only a regular oven.
