Tastes so, so good! I use a scoop of this maybe two, three times a week when I actually have time to make a smoothie in between work hours. I work 6 days a week, on average 10-14 hour days of non-stop movement. Sometimes I just don’t have time to cook for myself. This is fast and filling. I blend with half dozen dozen frozen strawberries, handful of banana slices, one heaping spoonful of plain Greek yogurt, tablespoon of chia seeds, and pour vanilla almond/soy milk while blending until it’s my desired consistency. Tastes better than any strawberry/vanilla/banana milkshake you can buy anywhere! A pound jug of this powder lasts me about two and a half months, maybe three depending on how many scoops I use a week. Great price!

Best taste and nutrition for the price!
I'm self admittedly a protein powder snob. As a runner who usually runs in the morning, I pack in a lot of carbs in during my morning but only moderate protein, and I like my afternoon snack to offer a little more protein. The easiest and most filling way to do that is a protein shake. I had a love affair with the Quest powders for about 6 months, but I started to get burnt out on them. The longer I drank shakes, the more I could taste the weird aftertaste that basically all protein powders have. I tried some other brands, but I couldn't shake it, and thus I have bounced around trying to find something I can live with.I got to a point where I was not willing to buy any more expensive powders, because I was not seeing any difference in taste/quality for the price. Decided to give this one a go, since I had had their bars before and liked them.To get a feel for the sweetness level/flavor on it's own, I tried it plain, just blended with almond milk. Not horrible, but I was over it by half the bottle and just chugged it. If you use a shake blender, it's very smooth in consistency. I also tried it with a cup of strawberries and almond milk, and that was pretty tasty, but there was a bit of a funny aftertaste. Not nearly as bad as I have had.My *favorite* experiment was this recipe: 1/2 a scoop of the powder, 1 bottle of light Starbucks mocha frappuccino (if you love your carbs like I do), 1 tsp of chocolate pudding mix, and a few ice cubes. With the protein in the Starbucks drink, you wind up with around 20g protein and around 200 cals. It has a very similar taste and consistency to Starbucks frappuccinos (reminds me of the S'mores one). The scoop is pretty big in comparison to most other brands I've tried, and while I didn't have a problem with chalkiness due to that, it could be a little strong when mixed by the directions, so I diluted it a little more.Overall, its a pretty good protein powder as it is. If you're weird about your protein like me, it's a good base to blend in with other shake ingredients. You definitely can't beat the price, and the quality greatly exceeds it!

Strong flavor
This is very filling. The vanilla flavor is far too strong for a smoothie. It mixes well in my smoothies.

Great taste in my protien desserts
Not bad tasting for the price, it is a small container but I like to change up and not have it just sitting there while I buy others. I've not made a shake with it but I have used it in my protein sweet treats and they have tasted delicious. My husband even ate one and said it was so good.

Huge price increase?
One of my biggest complaints about protein powder is you have no way of knowing if you like it without buying a literal bucket of it. I thought Pure was really onto something by offering this smaller more affordable "trial" size. But now I see the price has nearly doubled since my order. Same price as others that have more servings in the package? Naw. Won't be reordering.I really like Premier powder but always wonder if there are others that are just as good. The Pure tastes okay. Not nearly as sweet as Premier. Also doesn't blend as well. Shaking both in my Helimix, the Premier dissolves completely. Pure needs the helping hand of a shaker ball. (I don't understand why Premier seems to be the only company with the secret weapon of complete dissolvability.)So all in all, really nothing special about this one and now costs more for no good reason. I'll stick with my Premier.

Taste like a chocolate milkshake!
Back in the day, I used to use OP Gold Standard Vanilla Whey. I'm a little older now and I'm prioritizing taste (I switched to preferring chocolate over vanilla). It's the same amount of protein for maybe 30 calories more.I used 2% milk, and I add a 1/3 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt, and one rounded scoop of this powder. I BLEND it. I've always blended all my protein shakes. Never used a shaker. It tastes like a chocolate milkshake. I actually look forward to the days I'm taking a protein shake. This item used to be found in my grocery store. I am having a problem finding the product now. This product tastes fantastic. These days I just can't deal with a nasty tasting shake.I have also used the vanilla flavor. I always add frozen fruit to that one. Frozen bananas and frozen strawberries. I've also done frozen banana with the dash of cinnamon. And I always add the Greek yogurt. It makes it a nice thick consistency similar to all slightly melted milkshake. The way I make the shake I estimate it's about 350 calories total, for 37 g of protein which include the 2% milk/yogurt.I am a repeat buyer and I hope the company continues to make this product.
