Clarks Women's Jaelyn Fog Dress Sandal

These shoes squeak very loudly when you walk in them. It is so loud and embarrassing that you cannot wear them. They didn't squeak at first, but after wearing them for two months they started squeaking and do it now with every step. I bought them in cognac from Amazon and in white directly from Clarks Shoes website, and both pairs do this! I have now looked at other reviews on both websites and see that other customers have had the same problem. I took them to a shoe repair shop to see if it could be fixed, and he explained that it is likely a metal rod they put in the sole of the shoe that has come loose and cannot be fixed. The shoes are defective, and since the problem might not happen right away, you probably won't be able to return them if they do develop the problem. My return request for the Amazon purchase was rejected because it's past the time allowed to do returns with that seller (even though it's obvious they sold me a defective item!), so now I'm stuck with a pair of expensive shoes that I cannot wear. Don't buy them.

BEWARE THE SQUEAK! These shoes were squeaking from the first day of use and it is only getting worse. It's highly embarrassing to walk around with your shoes squeaking at every step. Can't understand why Clarks would sell a shoe like this.

Since I only tried them on, I cannot answer how long I was able to wear them before they became uncomfortable. I have been wearing Clark shoes for over 20 years and am discovering that the quality is not as good as they were back then. They photograph better than they actually appear on the foot. The straps are rough on the edges which may cause them to cut into the foot on a hot summer day. Will keep you updated once it's sandal wearing season.

These are beautiful shoes, but they are just too wide, and I have a very wide foot. Most of my life (before I could afford better quality shoes), I had to purchase a size larger just to fit my foot into the shoes. But, I will still wear them. Like I said they are beautiful and relatively comfortable. I put you could wear them all day, but I didn't have the correct answer choice. I would say it depends on what you're doing in them. Walking? A couple of hours. Walking and stopping? a bit more. Sitting at a desk? All day. :)

I really wanted to love these, because they are cute & summery, but they are so uncomfortable and gave me blisters. I wanted to love these, especially since they are my first pair of Clarks, but I dread the thought of ever putting these back on my feet... And they have a random squeak and one heel is louder then the other when it hits a hard surface....

I was disappointed since I really like the look of the tan shoe in the picture. Only giving 1 star because the tan shoe color is very different than the picture. The tan leather straps are about 2 shades lighter and the heel has a light tan color, not dark like the picture is showing. The heel was just a little too heavy for me. It was returned.

The second time I wore these sandals, the squeaked with each step I took, does not work well in office /hospital setting. Asked about a return/exchange, I was told the shoes were worn and they typically don't accept returns. These shoes are faulty, I am unable to wear them because of the noise. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH CLARK SHOES AND AMAZON.

Just wearing for the first time today. So far they are very comfortable. They will have to wear in a bit, but as the leather stretches I'm sure they'll fit like a glove. Very happy with purchase.
