Looks great & sounds great for the size.
using it for about one and a half year.Looks great.Sounds great for the size.Have a Tivoli subwoofer & stereo speaker also.combination works well for me. I use it only to hear music through bluetooth or cable.Cannot comment on radio as I don't have a nearby fm station.Best part of it is Amazon's customer service. Purchased a Model 2 initially which had a hissing noise after 6 months use .Probably damaged due to faulty electricity. As it was within the warranty period Amazon refunded the whole amount. But I liked the Tivoli sound quality and purchased this model as Model 2 was out of production.Till now everything is fine.

Foreign mains adapter. Time wasted.
Don't know if it is any good.Given as a gift, so a massive dissapointment to find it has a 12V adapter with a 2 pin plug, and "birthday boy" couldn't try it out.For £250, that's very poor indeed.Save your money and get a Pure instead.

expensive but nice
an expensive ammount for a clock radio does seem a lot of money, but its worth every penny, the quality is superb, a lot hevier too than expected, a very nice peice of gear, so much nicer than the average cheap plasticy alternative, in this world you get what you pay for.

Dear price, exquisite sound quality.
I had model two before but unfortunately the radio died after ten years. There was no possibility to repair, so I bought model three. It is compatible with the cd player and subwoofer as well as the second speaker for stereo sound. So far so good. Yes, it is too expensive but the sound quality is exquisite.

Doesn't work at all.
Excellent design and good sound quality but absolutely impossible to receive any radio channel. I tried different positions and set ups but the result didn't change. Finally I have to return the item. Probably it was a defective article but in my opinion it is not acceptable for a radio that cost more than 250 Euro.

Poor value at this price
The radio died after 18 months... Tech support was responsive, but ultimately confirmed "I had an issue".

Guilty pleasure
Simply beautiful. Superb sound. A classic design that does exact,y what it needs to, no more and no less. The addition of Bluetooth brings it bang up to date and the FM tuner is unsurpassed. The clock light is quite bright at night, but it's a soothing light and actually makes for a handy might light if you need to get up. It's certainly not spoiled my sleep. Highly recommended. Ridiculously expensively a guilty pleasure.

Must try harder
On the plus side: This unit is well-finished and has a quality feel to it. The wooden case is nicely put together and the rotary knobs on the front are solid. Sound quality is pretty good.On the negative side: £200 is steep for a radio that only has FM and AM. It also doesn't have presets, so the dial has to be turned to the stations and tuned in manually. Also, there is no way of indicating the stations so you have to know the frequencies and try to best line up the indicator with the number. The button on the top is rubbish, and feels like it is about to pop out at any moment. The alarm function is not reliable. If you listen to the radio, you have to remember to turn the alarm on. It can't be left active while you listen to music. If you forget to switch the alarm back on, then you will have the pleasure of waking up the next morning late with a jolt, and cursing why you slept through the alarm and are now late for work. Setting the alarm time involves turning an outer clock bezel and the alarm time is indicated by a crappy red needle. Accuracy is a challenge. There is a battery backup for the clock if the mains power fails, but I would imagine that might be unreliable. However, the biggest downside is the clock. This is marketed as a bedside clock radio, but the clock is a very basic analogue display with a pale blue backlight. The hands are the same length, and the dial is recessed, meaning that it is very difficult to read the time at night - one of the most important features of a bedside clock radio in my view. For the money, it is hard to see this bedside clock radio as anything other than extravagant and slightly irritating. A decent clock radio seems impossible to find at the moment, and I don't quite understand why. Perhaps this could seem like the best of a bad lot.....it did to me, which is why I bought one. But I couldn't live with it and it had to go back.
