YOUSMART F6640 Sunrise Alarm Clock, Wake Up Light with 6 Nature Sounds, FM Radio, Color Light, Bedside Sunrise Simulator (New-White)

So... you can't manually search FM stations. You can only have it scan and set your stations automatically from lowest -> highest frequency and depending on reception. I've never had the alarm turn off unexpectedly before, but I have had it come on unexpectedly before. The display lights up, but that just makes it impossible to see the buttons in the dark. The whole thing is just cheap, the user interface is kinda clunky, but it delivers what it promises.I will say the light is very pleasantly warm and natural to wake up to; much more pleasant and less stressful than an alarm or suddenly sound. 30 minutes before the alarm sound seems about right - I either wake up before the sound goes off, or if I'm sleeping deeply I will be roused enough to not freak out when the alarm goes off. So it works, but I would shop around before buying it again.

Had some issues with the time randomly being inaccurate despite there not being any power outages or other issues I was aware of. Setting the wake up sounds could be a little more intuitive, really do like the gradual lighting increase. I don't really use it as an alarm any more, I got an app for my smart phone that does nature sounds and is easier to set and use, but it is still going strong as my bedroom clock. It uses a USB cable for the power supply which I thought was sort of odd initially but that causes no problems that I'm aware of and is kind of nifty.

The gradual lighting function of this clock is great- but there are a couple of annoying features. My daughter likes to listen to the radio- and to adjust the volume, you can only make it louder. So you have to sucked through the loudest volume to get back to the quietest- which is dumb. Also, the gradual light starts before the alarm is set and for her, it ended up being bright enough to wake her about 20 minutes before her actual alarm- so you might have to play around with that.

My granddaughter loved this Sunrise Alarm Clock which I gave her for her birthday. Unfortunately the charging port seemed to collapse after a couple months of use. She called me and told me what had happened. No problem, however!! I contacted YOUSMART and the unit was replaced in a very timely manner. My granddaughter is happy; I am happy! This company truly cares about their customers! Thank you, YOUSMART!

Confusing to set up and use/navigate. Looks nice and works well once set up correctly. Light starts earlier than alarm time... just keep in mind if you wake with even the slightest amount of light in the room.

The clock itself is fine and works as advertised, and it did work well for me for about 2 weeks. Now it seems that I've become accustomed to the light and it doesn't wake me up anymore. I sleep right through the light cycle and don't wake up till the alarm sounds.

Very quirky as far as buttons and instructions. Not something I like having to deal with. Also for some reason, it consistently goes off around 11:00pm every night and I never set an alarm for that time. I've disabled this clock. Not worth the trouble to me.

I've always struggled with waking up in the morning. I would usually set multiple alarms on my phone to make sure I'd be able to wake up. I've been wanting to move away from using my phone for everything (I now leave it outside the bedroom at night) so I needed an alarm clock. Finally went for it and bought this one and wow am I glad I did. Thirty minutes before your wake up time, the light will turn on and slowly increase in intensity until your alarm sounds. It makes it so much easier to wake up. I often wake up slightly before my alarm because of the light and it's overall a more gentle experience. I highly recommend this clock to anyone.
