This is great it's allowing me to do great hand held shots on my short films. The only problem I'm having is drawing back up the rope holding the camera. By the way every bit of video equipment in the picture was purchased on Amazon

After receiving the defective item, I contacted the seller. They offered to replace a newer version. The upgraded Flowline starter vest has much better quality. Tension knob has a better design and the quality is also much better. A+ for Proaim customer serivce & support team. Highly recommended.

It's a little chintzy but gets the job done on smaller cameras. Doesn't include the spring arm.

I love the feeling of not having all the weight in my shoulders.

The media could not be loaded. I haven't even had this FLYCAM for very long and to be honest I don't think it's ever worked correctly like it is supposed to holding the tension. Every time I've tightened the tension knob on the back to the weight of my 7lb camera setup, the knob just spins. The camera will stay to where you pull it but it won't retract back up because there is no more tension. I've tried everything to troubleshoot this and I've finally given up. That was a lot of money to spend $400 for something that can't even work for me. EASY RIG makes the quality version that is dependable. I wish I saved up some money and invested in the Swedish Easy Rig.Super disappointed, I really wanted this to work and it's past the time I can return it within the Amazon return window so now I am stuck with it. I am stunned because ProAim makes cool things that I also own and am happy with, just not impressed with this Starter Flycam.

Took a chance on this one, I was sitting with my DP and we were discussing the next shoot. Our Ronin wasn't going to work for this shoot neither was our other stabilizers. This Fly cam supported our C300 Mark II without a problem with a sigma 150-600mm. 5 stars

Bought this as an alternative to the easyrig which is backordered and more expensive. Fine product, but the difference in quality between the two is noticeable. When packing down the rig you must detach the overhead arm which is a pain to do every time if you are an avid run & gun filmer like myself. Othwerise it will not fit in the provided bag. It added an extra 5 minutes to set up and then again breakdown which, when working quickly to get a shot, makes a big difference. Returned this item due to that problem alone. Easrig is still the winner in this space.

I’m a videographer shooting mainly music videos. If you’re debating buying this, I would say do it. Personally I was sick of caring a heavy camera through multiple scenes. And this was perfect. The price is very good compared to others I’ve seen. Great quality
