**Q: Can this be stored long term w/o refridgeration?**
A: Don't know how long long term is at your house but if it is entirely covered with spice it will keep for weeks maybe longer.  BUT, only if it is in a chunk and not sliced.

**Q: Does it have sodium nitrate?**
A: Yes...according to the labeling.  Click on the item picture and all ingredients are shown.  It is an excellent product and your question was a reminder to order some for Christmas!!

**Q: If this Halal meat then why it does not show the "Halal" sticker or logo as sign of Halal or  حلال inspection by legal authority?**
A: There are two kinds of Ohanyan's sliced pastirma. Ohanyan's offers both halal and regular cuts. Our company either at bestturkishfood.com or as an Amazon seller, we always offer Halal products, and our Ohanyan's sliced pastirma always have Halal sticker on the label. Best Regards.
