5 Stars, 5 Stars, 5 Stars.... Top Quality and Innovation!
I love these work pants! I have switched my entire wardrobe over to them. Now my Carharts are for yard work and dirty jobs. The pull out apron pockets are the best. I used them everyday. The kneepads are the best too. I purchased the light weight foam pads to put in and keep them there till laundry day. I don't even mind walking around in public with them in.These are heavy duty paints, yet they move and wear quite comfortably. I refer them out to all my work friends who comment on them. If you are into top quality tools then you will probably love these pants because like a quality tool they allow me to get the job done faster, smarter, more comfortably and fun.Truly a 5 star product!I just wish Amazon stocked their entire product line!** Update 9.20.15 ** - I am still wearing these pants. My original pair have faded after many washings, but I have purchased 4 more since. There are no tears or rips in them and they are still holding up strong. You will inevitably get some caulk, glue or paint on them if you are in the construction business. I do want to mention that if you are used to Carharts with the hammer loop on the left side, that on these it is on the right. If you wear both pants thru out the week this switching may be a source of constant entertainment for yourself as your automatic reflexes never get a chance to dial in fully. I am right handed and personally prefer the loop on the left side as it seems to be a better side to be on. I find my hammer with solid wood handle migrates out of the loop periodically from bending down and squatting. I will sometimes find it falling out after standing up and walking with perhaps materials in my hands. I think the loop could be made with a wider material and be a little thicker to not flex as much. Otherwise I still love these pants!** Update February 2017 - I had an issue with a pair of bantam pants that did not fit correctly. The vendor was giving me issues with the return. I lost faith in Blaklader for a moment. Then the manager for the entire USA division spoke with me and resolved the issue. Amazing! What a great company to work with. If you've had customer service issues with 3rd party vendors selling Blaklader workwear and haven't had good support on critical issues please try them directly. They do want to provide excellent customer service as well as excellent products. I'm a true fan again!

Finally functional workwear for people who work
These pants are great and well thought out, apparently by someone who actually works and not a french fashion designer. The utility pockets are great. No more screws or nails digging into my thighs and no more nail aprons. Just pop out the pockets, fill them full of nails or tools and when your done put the pockets back in. Genius!I also bought the knee pads and they too are incredible. No more binding straps behind the knees, no more constantly pulling them up or adjusting their position...every time I drop to my knees the pads are there. WARNING, it will become natural to drop to a knee so the first time you are working and NOT wearing these pants it will hurt. The only problem I have with these pants are that they are a little pricey and my wife hates it when I come home with paint on such an expensive garment. I would like 3 more pair but I will have to save up for them. Rest assured, I will save and I will buy several more. I would love to try out some of the other models but just cant justify that much money.I hope this review helps. If you can afford them you wont be disappointed.

Rugged Work Pant
Awesome pair of work pants. Had to purchase the next size up my normal size was just to tight. The knee pad pockets are the bomb. You insert the pads from the bottom up but once inserted they ain't coming out and they do not slide. Those utility pockets are just the best, you can carry so many important time savers items. Yep i love these pants for sure!!

Darn handy work pants.
I was introduced to Blaklader products at my local wood store. Bought a kangaroo vest and it turned out so usefull I decided to look into other products they sell. After that I bought the Brawny version of this pant for a hardwood flooring job. They worked great but as the weather warmed I needed the lighter weight version. I will wear the Heavier pants this fall and winter and they make for a pretty good motorcycle pant.I have never been a fan of cargo style pants, but the built in knee pads pockets and ultra handy pull out pockets cinched the deal for me. Great all around pants for the shop or on the job site. Would work great for fishing, shooting, gardening or any time you need extra pockets for tools or working on you knees. The left leg cargo pockets also offers enough room for a small personal protection device if your so inclined. All in all a well thought out product. Blaklader also offers a Kilt... But I'll pass on that.

Best pants I've ever owned
The utility pockets are incredibly convenient and I love that the knee pads go in from the bottom. I have another brand of pants where they go in at the top and are now nearly useless because the knee pockets are all full of mulch and I can't get it out. Every time I kneel, the little mulch spikes impale me. These pants are heavy duty, but lightweight enough not to overheat you while working indoors. Perfect.I did buy a pair for my husband, but the knees don't line up correctly with his anatomy - he's bow-legged. I'll have to alter the pockets for him.

Great pants but the waist runs small...
Loved these immediately upon removing them from the box, but as others have posted - the size is screwy. I wear 36" waist pants and these are at least 2" shy of fitting. I'm returning and ordering a 38" waist with the hopes that they'll fit. Slightly worried I'm going to need a 40" in these. Will update once I receive the new ones.Gave them 4 stars for the obviously common problem of not running true to size. Seems like this would have been addressed by now. Other than that, they're a 5-star pant.9/21/12: Update: Ordered the 40" instead of the 38" The 40" are too big and WAY too long. So I guess I'm sending yet another pair back and will try a 38" x 32" ....very frustrating.
