I developed some heart stuff after suffering from strep A and strep B for several years. During this period I suffered reoccurring sinus and ear infections, which caused increased sinus pain and pressure. After a few years of strep, my heart became intolerant of any pseudoephedrine or phenylephrine decongestant. My heart would race, cause painful palpitations. My blood pressure would go up, sometimes dangerously high. Needles to say I'd rather deal with insane sinus pain and pressure, than my heart acting up. I would never have known about this other option if my elderly father hadn't moved in with me. He suffers from hypertension and his FNP recommend coricidin to me for him. This works!! Doesn't cause any unbearable side effects!! Even my teenage son who hates how regular decongestants make him feel, so he refuses to take them.... Will take this as well

Coricidin is the only cold medicine my husband and I take due to any heart disease. It is hard to find during the cold and flu season. My husband went to 3 different stores to buy Coricidin due to being sold out. I order now so we always have it on hand if we need it. A good product for us.
