This was my second pair of Burnside shorts and they performed as expected. Extremely light weight cargo shorts which hold all my stuff and are cool and comfortable for Florida weather. Couldn't ask for more!Update: Ordered another pair of shorts when the second pair developed a hole (after much wear). My size wasn't available so I tried the next smaller size as there was plenty of room in the first two pairs and I had lost 10 pounds. I should have paid attention to the recent reviews about the actual size being smaller than advertised because the new pair was way to small.

These are the second pair of these that I have owned. I wore my previous pair for quite a while until the zipper (which does feel a bit flimsy) broke. However, I love the feel of them so much that I immediately ordered another pair. They are very light and silky, dark black in color, and don't require any ironing. The zipper is a minor issue for me since I will get plenty of use out of them before it gives out.

Good length, lightweight... I usually wear a 36 or 38 in my fat phases. Even then 38 is usually too large... I order these in 38, and they are *very* snug in the waist. Order 1 size larger! (at least)

I purchased these shorts for skating based upon a friend's recommendation. The microfiber fabric is lightweight, soft, and cool. The cargo pockets have a modest volume -- large enough for a phone, wallet, and a skate tool, but not much more. A zippered pocket opens at the top of the cargo pocket on the left leg. The side slash pockets and the hip pockets are average size. Velcro secures the flaps that cover the cargo pockets and hip pockets. I read the reviews indicating that the Burnside shorts 2015 version runs small, so I ordered a size up from usual pants size. If I hadn't ordered the larger size I would not have had enough room for my bum and my junk, and I have neither a corpulent bum nor he-man sized junk.

I have owned a pair of these shorts for several years now and I was thrilled to find they still make them and haven't changed the style or quality. The fit is less baggy and actually true to the sizes. This is a very light, cool fabric that holds up well and lasts for years.

Item seemed a size to small from what I'm used to.Customer service was great to work with though.
