To be honest, packing fragile bulbs this way opens them up to possible damage. This was indeed the case with the bulbs that I received, two of the packages were crumpled as if dropped.The bulbs themselves look to be well made, they have clear glass, the elements inside look to me as they should. This is a handy size as we have several lamps in our house that will take these type of bulbs.In use, first bulb tended to be a bit of a disaster. I inserted the bulb into our lamp, switched the lamp on and the bulb illuminated, 5 seconds later there was a loud pop, the globe filled with white powder and that was it. So, not very good results so far. The second and third bulbs faired better, those are still working at the moment. As some of the boxes were showing signs of damage, I will put the blown first bulb down to damaged in transit. Good price in comparison to other similar products. Size was exactly what I was looking for to put inside a lamp that has a short lamp shade so didn’t want bulb to stick out. Very bright because glass on bulb is clear.
