CAP Barbell 47-Inch Standard Threaded Solid Easy Curl Bar, Black

I love this Bar. Its hand placement is very comfortable. Very sturdy and strong. Definitely worth the money.

This is a fairly standard E-Z Curl bar. It is not as bent or angled as some of them are, but it is not completely straight like a bar with which you would do barbell squats. The bar itself is about 11 pounds and you can use any barbell plates that have a 1" hole. The ends where the plates are loaded are threaded so you can either use a spring collar or a collar that can go on a threaded end. It is great for doing moves like skull crushers, upright rows, bent-over rows, and the like. It is definitely a good deal and perfect for a home gym setup.

If you are looking for a nice solid curl bar, look no further. This one is a great quality bar for a reasonable price. The only reason I'm deducting a star is the threaded collars seem to need frequent tightening. I may end up getting a pair of quick release clamps to use instead of the threaded collars, but the bar itself seems very nice and should hopefully give years of service.

The E-Z curl bar is exactly what I wanted. The price is great. No problems there.The only con is that the packaging needs improving. It was shipped in a nice heavy tube but there was a very flimsy capping on both ends. During shipping, the bar must have broken through both ends. That really was not a too much of a problem for me but I'm sure the delivery driver was not too happy about it.My bar was delivered into the lobby of my building. If it were delivered to a house, I think the porch privates would have a field day with it.Update: i just noticed that one of the collars became missing in transit. Did I mention the flimsy end caps on the tube it was delivered in? Yeah, that happened.

Exactly what I was looking for at a great price. The curves are about what I am use to and the knurling on the grips is ok (not very deep cuts but gives more of a med/fine sand paper feeling). No flaking of the chrome at all so far (1 month). The threads are in good shape and the collars spin on fine. I haven't had any issue with the collars backing off, they do a small bit after a few full sets (slow down and focus on your form people). I plan on getting some quick release clamping collars at some point but just to make it quicker (not having to spin the nut off) to change weights.

This curl bar is a work of ART! It's a precision-like bodybuilding tool in both appearance and function. The angles are gentle making it more universally useful for arm work, chest, or shoulders. It's a great addition to my gym gear for an unbelievable 27 bucks!
