Introduction to Networking Edition Unstated

So far I'm in chapter three of this book and I'm impressed. The author is very thorough in his explanations, building your knowledge in a very technically precise and methodical manner ensuring all concepts reinforce one another. This results in the reader's mastery of the subject. Also, I've noticed no typos or misspellings which seems like a little thing, but just serves as another indicator of the high quality of the text. I highly recommend this book.

Very clear writing, but it doesn't go as deep as I would have liked

This text is a college level introduction to networking. Although the book claims that it is written for novices, it is too technical for "newbees." For this reason, it is not the easiest book on this subject. After a few pages, I gave up..For its credit, it is very comprehensive and does cover all the topics related to networking.
