Travelon Anti-Theft Courier Saddle Crossbody

This was a perfect travel purse - I bought it specifically for a trip to Rio, but I didn't get mugged, so I can't comment on whether or not it is truly slashproof. That being said, it has 2 inner zippered pockets where you can stash your passport and money, as well as a smaller pocket for your phone, so even if someone slashed the bottom of the bag nothing would really fall out. It is smaller than the average purse but I could fit my iphone, sunglasses, and a disposable camera without any difficulty. The above items filled it up, but that's overall a great travel size.

So cute light weight can't wait to use it on my trip to Vegas just what I wanted very well made little smaller then I expected but lots of pockets on the inside Update went to Las Vegas and when I tell you I love this purse I mean it. It was absolutely perfect for my vacation and I felt safe with it everything I needed stayed right on my person made it easy to use and great to walk around with buy it

love the praticality of this bag. i had to switch wallets because my other was too big. i found a something that holds my credit cards, license and insurance stuff and, presto!, all fits and is perfect for me. the long handle/strap really is convenient. i have a chronic breathing problem and have to manage an oxygen container in addition to my purse. this bag is the perfect one for me. big enough for basic stuff, but not too big to allow me to overfill it and make it heavy. i recommend this to anyone who wants to shop, travel, etc with minimal hindrance.

Love this bag! Perfect size can carry it through the airport and then stick it in my personal item bag and keep moving. I will be buying other colors.

TL:DR This purse is super cute and preppy looking. The fabric however is canvas and when I took it out of the poly bag it instantly attracted 2 cat hairs from the ether which I promptly plucked off. I am on the fence about keeping this and I'm definitely not taking it on my upcoming trip to Portugal and Spain (Barcelona! Ack! Pickpockets!!) because it's teeny. It's currently back in it's poly bag with the tags waiting for when I get home and can decide. Cons The fabric is a cotton canvas. I doubt it's as waterproof as the Travelon nylon bags. I'm not testing it because I may return it. For some reason I thought it would be more nylon-like. And as I mentioned the fabric welcomes fur with open arms. Take note, pet owners. It's so small. Shame on me for not getting a ruler out before ordering and understanding it in person. They give the dimensions and it's up to us consumers to vet these things. But what is so misleading and another reviewer mentioned, is it looks so much bigger in the picture with the lady. They picked a 95 pound 4'11" model to photograph the bag with. (Ok, I don't know this for sure, but it sure seems that way.) For me when I travel to places, I'm out all day. I may need to stuff a jacket in my bag or a sweater. You definitely can't put either in there. It would fit some standard purse essentials and that's about it. A guidebook, tablet (Fire, iPad, etc.) or water bottle probably wouldn't fit and definitely not a spare layer for evening. It's a cute purse for going to dinner, but not for touring all day. The interior organization is weird. There are two interior zipped pockets which is great! But there is this funny flap-like open pocket across one of them. It is floppy too. Like no organization for cards or anything there and I feel like stuff would get stuck in it and it would just get in the way when you want to put things into the main interior space of the bag because it doesn't lay flat against the side of the interior. I don't think it has those metal cables in the strap... I think it's advertised as "slash resistant," but it appears just to be thick cotton/poly webbing. I may be wrong, but I'm not going to cut the strap to find out for sure. Pros Cute as a button. The saddle bag is a classic look and the navy and brown leather trim are so nice. It's a lovely-to-look-at bag. The slip pocket on the back/exterior is great for your phone or bus pass (when you are not around pickpockets.) TWO! interior zip pockets. This is great for sketchy travel destinations. You not only can have valuables in your locked zipper main compartment but behind yet another "door" of an interior zippered pocket! No one is getting their hands in there without you knowing. Perfect to put your money, cards and passport. Just don't purse snatched. Conclusion I'm probably returning this one. I don't want to have to lint roll my purse every time I leave the house. Seems weird. I also own A LOT of purses. Including a tan leather saddle bag about the same size. Do I really need one more? Anyhow I ordered a bigger, nylon Travelon bag for my trip that I will use. And when I get back we shall see.

For years I've used a small ID case for my license/credit cards/cash, but unfortunately recently I've had to look for a purse to fit two phones, keys, and my ID case. This purse has more than enough room without being too big, the lanyard for keys makes it easy to find them every time, the zipper for the main pocket allows me to toss my purse around like I would my old ID case without losing the contents, it's cute, and super durable. 10/10 I'd highly recommend it

A bit on the small size but bigger than most small purses. I like its simplicity & security & the strap is very comfortable, stays put. A no fuss bag that could use an extra inch but I'd still like another in a different color. Has become my everyday go to.

THe description of this item does not present a clear picture of the bag. No dimensions are given.. THat should have triggered a lightbulb in my head. The picture shows it to be a large bag. Also, there is a lithium batteried light inside. with no mention of it in the descrption. This has taught me to be very skeptical of descriptions. No dimensions = no purchase.

I have used this purse for 10+ months and am very satisfied. It is perfect for all my travels, even where pickpocketing is a problem. It looks nice. It feels comfortable against my skin especially in hot weather since it is fabric and not plastic coated. I was even complimented through a security check point for a lovely bag, when the x-ray saw the security lining. I would buy this again!

I bought this bag for a quick weekend trip and it was perfect. I didn't want to carry my big purse everywhere, so this was a perfect size, it still fit my wallet and phone and all my small items nicely, without feeling stuffed full. Great amounts of compartments and pockets to keep my things organized. I wasn't as concerned about anti theft features, as I was in a very safe area, but this will be great for future trips to other countries where I will need to worry about that more. Will definitely recommend this brand to friends, and will absolutely buy again in the future!

Muy Bonita y práctica, le cabe poco pero es lo que a mi me gusta para que en tus viajes no te duela la espalda o los hombros. Lleva justo lo necesario, no de más.
