Its not the heaviest table but neither is it flimsy. The cut edges of most slats had not been sanded down so that neded a bit of work, and one slat had a large (3 inch) splinter missing which left a bare unstained gouge in the top surface. But in a few months in the garden that will not be noticed. Was about 2 inch higher than the table it replaced, and maybe a tad higher than the average table so check with the chairs you will be using. But for the price its god value.

The usual prompt delivery from Amazon brought a sturdy, well-made table which will no doubt give many years of service. But if you are thinking of buying (which I certainly recommend) be aware that there is a small amount of construction work to be done, and, above all, none of the main suppliers of covers actually offer a square one of any size or material, although there are plenty of square tables! So I have bought a circular cover with 53" diameter to stretch across the table from corner to opposite corner - remember Pythagoras!

Very pleased with my new table, the only problem is, our existing chairs are a bit low, probably because the table is elevated on small casters to preserve the wood. Will need to put cushions on the chairs so that we can sit comfortably to eat. Other than that it looks very nice on the patio. Would def recommend!!

What a bargain! This table arrived within 2 days and all I had to do was put the legs on with the allen key supplied. It looks very smart and way more than the £50 I paid for it and has smartened up my patio. The legs have plastic protectors on the bottom making it suitable for conservatories or tiled surfaces too which is a thoughtful addition. Since it's already been oiled, the instructions advise not retreat until after the first season so I'll do that in the Autumn to make sure it lasts as long as possible.

This was for my dads back garden. It was a good product for the price.

Quality OK shame the width isn't the same as the 6 seater version

Adjustable legs make this a good buy. However, after a little while outdoors and even covering when it rains, I can see it will require a re coat every year or so to keep looking good.
