My Car Was Whining More Than I Do on a Monday
My power steering had a morning groan that could curdle milk. I was getting an arm workout just trying to park. Poured this magic potion in, and now it's whisper-quiet and smooth as butter. My car is happy, my wallet is happy. 10/10 for saving me from an expensive mechanic's bill and a gym membership.

This product is specifically designed for high mileage vehicles, as it contains a unique blend of sealants and additives that are designed to help restore worn out seals and gaskets, and to prevent future leaks from occurring. My wife's 2003 Ford Escape has over 260,000 miles on it and every time she starts the car the power steering system makes all kinds of noise at idle and while driving. The Bar's Leaks High Mileage Power Steering Repair is easy to use, and can be added directly to your vehicle's power steering fluid. Simply pour the entire contents of the bottle into your power steering reservoir, and then start your vehicle and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock a few times to circulate the fluid. This product is safe and effective, and can help you avoid costly repairs and replacements. After I used about half the container and turned the steering wheel one time from lock to lock the noise instantly stopped and it has been about 2 weeks with no noise and no loss in fluid either.Overall, if you're looking for an affordable and easy-to-use solution for your power steering system, Bar's Leaks High Mileage Power Steering Repair is a great option. Guaranteed product - Very good Temp Fix
UPDATE:The bottle leaks if you don't use it all... I was left with the pink side that didn't run out as it was thicker. Called the company and was told the pink side is just the additive and wouldn't help on its own.I was told to send back the label with the receipt for reimbursement.---Meanwhile, I found out looking at their stop leak chart, that the Super Leak Fix might be a more appropriate product for a medium type leak.------Works pretty good but is NOT a permanent fix.Use a funnel when pouring in - it is very difficult to get both types of additives in in equal amounts without a funnel. (Make a funnel out of a zip lock or baggie if need be. Cut off a corner and treat it like a pastry bag.)ALWAYS carry this or power steering fluid with stop leak with you if you have a problem. It is very dangerous to get stuck somewhere with a steering wheel that doesn't want to turn.Get vehicle fixed asap or trade it. Talk to mechanic for how safe you can drive without power steering. Safety may win out over wallet.

Made in the USA too
1995 Ford Aerostar was whining like a puppy, gear box was leaking fluid like crazy, leaving a trail. After adding 1/2 bottle of Barsleak and driving 20 miles, it's not leaking a drop and the pump is very quite. I saved $400 for a new rack and pinion. The van isn't worth that much.

Seems effective!
Delivery was on time and efficient.Item instructions are clear and accurate.Use of item could do with a funnel of some kind to support non-mech users when interacting with it and their, normally newly discovered steering fluid reservoir.Pouring was fine.Impact Assessment:Method- topping up reservoir as it depleted due to possible leak.Background- I had replacement of steering rack and pinion and high pressure line. Then others worked on the cooling system and that seemed to dislodge something creating a leak in the steering fluid.Overall Impact- The steering immediately seemed less heavy, however that also could be resulting from having compatible fluid added.Negative: Wherever the issues had been was still having steering fluid excretions that became splattered around the engine, "waste" everywhere...Positive: After a month of topping up, Steering issues are less as well as leakage. The time between topping up seems to have gotten larger and larger, meaning I am needing to top up the steering fluid less frequently, result.Reaction? Seems to work and I have not used the entire bottle 2/3 used.Believing it has stopped the issue so I am thankful for the item being on the market!Glory and praise to Jesus for His wisdom expressed through the manufacturers and investors of the liquid combination! God bless.

Noise is gone
This is on a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. I do not appear to have a leak of any kind in my PS system however clearly my PS was having issues as it would make squelchy noises once it had heated up. With nothing really to lose I ordered this. All I did was remove all the PS fluid from the overflow reservoir using a turkey baster, then turn the car on and move the steering all the way from lock to lock 2 times (this flushed as much as possible back into the overflow reservoir) I then removed this as well. For me, the PS fluid that came out looked bright red like brand new. I then reversed the process, filling the reservoir with this stuff, turning the steering wheel from lock to lock, and then topping up the reservoir with this stuff. After a quick drive, I noticed that the noise was completely gone. I was very impressed. Not sure how it will work in the long run but I used about 2/3 of a bottle and I will keep the remaining in my car in case I need to top up.
