Thick and hard to find basic info
Simple things like how long gestation takes or best months to breed are hard to find in the book. It's full of great and interesting stories, lots of fluff. Honestly downloading free PDF books ment for African villages on dairy goats, has way more information on feeding kidding biology medical care milking making cheese etc. I would not buy again, for my homesteading / prepping goals.

Enriching your goat knowledge
I'm a former zookeeper, but I knew next to nothing about goats. After reading Raising Goats Naturally, I feel very confident that I can keep my small herd of Boer goats healthy and safe. Thank you, Deborah Niemann, for sharing your experiences and knowledge.

All You Need to Know in One Book!
I am a beginning goat keeper and I feel I have gained 20 years of experience without paying the price in time. This has been so helpful to me in giving my goats a great start. I feel I have been mentored through this book. I also love the author's stance on parasite control protocols. As farmers, we need to be aware that scheduled worming has the potential to create super parasites that eventually will not respond to wormers. There is a better way!

A MUST HAVE if raising goats
Both before and after we got goats, we read a lot of books and online resources, but Deborah's book is definitely our "Goat-To", no pun intended. We rely on all the research she did for writing this book, and trust her personal experience with goats. We learned a lot of useful info, especially in the controversial area of deworming. We are new to keeping goats, and Deborah's book has helped us tremendously. We highly recommend both her book and her website and blog.

One if the best resource books that I have come across so far
So full of important information, you won't know which chapter to look at first! I'm brand new to the goat world! I found the pedigree section a bit overwhelming, and as the author described it, a bit like " alphabet soup!" This will be my Study guide for the next year or two!

Lot's of informetion, but data not provided in the metric system
As I am European the data in US American system (inches, gallons etc.) doesn t work for me. Other than that the book contains a lot of useful information. More pictuters or sketches would have been nice.
