Great filter, bad fittings.
The filter itself is just what I wanted, but save yourself the hassle. With the money you saved on the filter, invest in push connect fittings, or better compression fit ones, as the ones included are absolute garbage. There's no bevels on the interior of the male or female parts, so the compression bushing just rocks off to one side and crimps/cuts/or weakens the hose...

Great price for a great filter. Quick and easy to install. Took out the bad taste - just like advertised.

Clogged after 1.5 months.
This unit stopped working, completely clogged, after 1.5 months. Too late for me to return it. I would like a refund, but my refund window through Amazon has closed. Really disappointing. It says replace after every six months, it should've at least lasted that long.

I get my water from a well and I installed an icemaker and for some reason, the ice smelled bad like rotten eggs well I installed this filter on my refrigerator water line and it too out that bad smell and taste
