Chetan Bhagat Collection (7 Books in 1) Kindle Edition

I downloaded this collection of books by Mr. Bhagat while on a recent 6 week trip to India, mostly in the Delhi area. I hoped it would give me interesting tidbits on current India culture. I read 2 books (One Indian Girl, and One Night in the Call Center) while I was on my trip (and one more on my flight home). I found Mr. Bhagat's style of writing to be very engaging and easy to read. The stories themselves were enjoyable and did give me a little insight into the lives and lifestyles of [those who would be considered] the more affluent Indian population.While the writing style (nor the plots) do not compare to "A Fine Balance" by Rohinton Mistry, it was a very gratifying read in its own right. Glad I found it, and I definitely expect to read the other 4 books in the collection.

I chosed this book after seeing the film 3 idiots. I enjoyed both, but I like better the film adaptation.

Very detailed observations of all the characters.it's good read.very funny conversation on and off with emotional touch.everything said with convincing manner.

Well written and an eye into a different culture

Thank goodness I am in retirement as I don't think I would have the energy or dedication these young students have. They deserve whatever fortunes await them. I really enjoyed them Chetan Bhagat thanks.

It was nice reading about young Indians: how they think and behave, how they try to bridge the gap between current values and traditional values. They are groomed not only by prolific technology but also by the torque between social traditions and a more objective and individualistic way of looking at the world.

I was totally into the story and I like it very much.. Sometimes it was crazy and I was laughing and embrassed ..
